Definitely it will consume more battery. You have to bear with that. I do not know exactly, but it should be a direct plug and play.

120/80-18 is this tyre any good.i want my rear tyre changed will this FKR
improve SAFETY on highways.I know i will be hit on the mileage front well i am ok with that .So can i go for this tyre .The dealer said its IMPORTED Rs1750(chennai).
Also after the tappet been adjusted the bike reaches 100km/Hr fast. The pickup seem to have increased.I had a word with this yamaha testdriver
who has a RTR he said tappet should not be adjusted during the 1st 3 service. He also said the bike should not be stressed during the 1st 8000kms(i was like WTF).He is a traitor he works for yamaha but praises
his RTR may be cause he survived a 90k/hr CRASH(he still has the bike).

It would surely be a direct plug and play, but it will be a complete useless exercise. As the bulb wont be able to perform to its fullest because the the stock setup is desgined to handle a 35/35 w bulb. You will be a ble to reap full advantage only if the wiring, realy, coil is modified accordingly for extra wattage generation.

Why only 1st 3 services?? It may go more than that also... depends on your driving... and how well it was set on the assembly line!

And IMO, 8,000 sounds like a way too long running in preiod for a HH!!!

Glad that he did not say run-in for the first 1,00,000km.

@ravi@17bhp he would have said that if i had a long stroke ZMA .

I had a very hard time keeping the bike below 5K RPM for the first 3000KMS.
enduring the torture for another 5K kms... i rather drive myself off some cliff.

I cant catch a RTR no matter what i do.how about pulsar 150(digital)
topend is it better than cbz xtreme???.

That is why I stopped listening to HH mechanics.

If you want to catch RTR, you should have bought a p200, Karizma, or p220 or an R-15. Do not try anything extreme on xtreme and spoil it. Ride it like a 150-cc bike.

Catching RTR on Xtreme is not possible... unless the guy on RTR is staring at on going girl ...

topend of P150 and Xtreme....hmmm...debatable...but i guess and feel its Xtreme which has better topend of all 150cc....obviously except R15...

                          • I came across only one R15 on the highway i was doing like 85km/hr he overtook me at such a pace that i thought i was standing still.R15 doing those speeds seemingly EFFORTLESSLY.

Sometime ago when i had my uni i was doing like 100km/hr i was surprised to see this black old but well maintained fiero overtake me effortlessly i twisted the throttle he did the same and i was blown into oblivion.i am sure that thing was modded or its was using aircraft fuel
