TVS scooters and bikes have the best headlights though they run on AC.
Old Unicorn's headlight was decent, the new one is not even upto that?

    Re: Honda Unicorn

Surprised to see so little discussion about the Unicorn 160. I've seen quite a few on the road and picked up one a couple of months back. A few first impressions

    - Overall, it is a very plain looking bike without any standout features. The one thing I can think of is the rear lamp that is shaped like a H
    - While the fit and finish is generally good, the quality of the switchgear is pathetic and not fit for a 80K bike. What were Honda thinking when they put the choke down near the carburetor?
    - Headlamp is pathetic, I have a Wego and I find it is much brighter and gives more confidence

Some of the good things I found
    - Engine is unbelievably smooth below 5000 rpm. After that, there is some roughness but it could be because it is new
    - Gear shifting is good but I've had instances of false neutrals on occasion
    - Handling is good very confidence inspiring in the city. I find the ride to be a little on the hard side, the seat is also not that comfortable (a little hard)

Overall, I think it is a decent bike but nothing memorable. Honda will sell 1000s per month and it will run for years without complaint.

I'd bought this as a commuter, but I think I would've been better served with an Activa 125 for my daily office commute. That is more of a gripe about Bangalore traffic than this bike.

i have a honda cb unicorn(32000 kms) which i just got from my brother... however, there are several issues with the bike..

    1) front disk brake performance: the play of the lever is too much and if i apply the brake the vehicle comes to halt with axial (along the length of vehicle) vibrations of it. what could be the probable cause..?? also any tricks to reduce the freeplay of the lever (as i am not satisfied with my local honda servicemen)
    2) also at what km of running front damper oil and the seals should be changed..??? the front assembly is causing me a lot of trouble when riding. the service center guys said the forks are out and repaired it but same problem started after a month or so...
looking forward to your help, thanks in advance.
Lever free play could be due to low level of brake fluid. Check the disc pads as well if they're worn out.
If you feel the front suspension is hard or if you see oil leaks around fork tubes, go for fork oil replacement. At 32k nothing should've happened to the fork tubes, unless there was some accident or something.

Front brake lever play may be due to air in brake fluid line. Recomendation for Front fork oil replacement is after 15000 kms

Same news I gathered from online media. However, it's also said Unicorn 150 will be exported. Unicorn 160 replaced Unicorn 150 in India.

Am really confused at what price I should sell my bike . My bike is a 2014 honda cb unicorn 150 , 8 months old and it's mileage is 6000km .
Am selling this bikes because, I want a more powerful and good touring bike . The new bajaj AS200 is my choice because it's Easy to run , enough mileage, good touring ability and "MADE IN INDIA " [emoji41] .
The problem What am facing is that, I don't know at what price I should sell it [emoji780] .

I request the moderator to kindly post my thread [emoji4] .
The seller alone doesn't decide the price, it also depends on demand i.e buyers.
The bike would have easily lost 20% of its original value by now so consider this.
