Just emptied the first full tank, and after filling, the amount of fuel input was 8.5 ltrs, and I had done 300 kms, so translates to about 35 km/ltr, which is just great. Of the 300 kms, 30% is city and the rest is all highway, cruising between 80-90 kmph

Also, had to visit the SVC for a minor fix. My tail lamp was not working, but the brake light would. Turned out to be a bad filament in the bulb.

^^^ Aren't we supposed to maintain a certain amount of fuel in the tank all the time (this being an FI)?
Emptying the full tank will not cause any problems?
Also we don't have a fuel reserve in this so that we can check the mileage from reserve to reserve (that's how i used to check on my FZ).

He does not mean emptying it absolutely, he filled back 8.5 ltrs.

Whoa!!! I'm surprised to see you're following this thread

For a daily use N250R will blow out my entire property

& I'm financially weak to afford for a weekend ride. Summing up all these, I finalized for C250R despite their bad attitude of ASC

BTW, went for a test ride on C250R C-ABS this morning & this time the same dealer's attitude was slightly better. This dealer received 5 bikes in total, 3 ABS & 2 STD. He's sold on STD & one ABS as his demo vehicle. He's waiting for bank loan to be approved for 3 other customers for delivery. All said, he gives me a practical time to wait until June end
