Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
Don't leave the bike there. Try to understand what they're doing. Air filter cleaning, oil filter change, spark plug cleaning, disc pad cleaning, oil change. Not much work.
Here in B'lore the ownership changed to Surfer motors from Satya Mitra Motors. Things are even more worse now it seems. Service charges increased from 1500 to 2800 rs it seems. Plus they charge 200 rs extra for every small work like disc pad cleaning etc. 500 rs charged for water wash and chain lube!
God save Hyosung.

Re: Hyosung GT650R
Yes bro the 2011 GT650R sold by Garware came with GTR stickering while the 2012 GT650R sold by DSK came with Comet stickers.Originally posted by Nithesh View PostDoes anyone here own a 2012 GT-650R? If so did they come with Comet stickers or was that sticker only meant for GT-250R? I just heard from a guy that his dealership sold all 2012 GT650Rs with a Comet sticker instead of the GT ones. He claims that the color scheme was changed when DSK took over. Can anyone confirm this?

Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
The oil patch that was being noticed on the cylinder was due to the breather pipe. The mechanic removed the breather pipe clean't it inside out and fitted it back. Now the problem is resolved. For info, "A breather pipe is a pipe which allows an internal combustion engine to vent crankcase pressure out of the engine".Originally posted by Vyshakh KN View PostWhere you able to rectify the oil leak issue?

Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
I tried to shame them for quoting double of what the actual price should be, but they are shameless. Or atleast helpless because that is what the company is quoting. Really sad state of affairs.Originally posted by roshanromano View PostYes they did quote a very high and unreasonable figure the last time I called them. I did some searching and i'm getting mine through a friend. Not from the service centre.

Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
Thanks for the info. Im getting a Battlax set. As you rightly said those tyres are very good and also last way longer than metzellersOriginally posted by roy_arnab22 View PostBattalax rear lasts on proper usage upto 13K and front 15 K... It can last even more depending on individuals riding style. Overall one of top class tyres.. Be it on wet dry or semi/completely broken road... Pair will cost you around 30K if you get ot at all... Best IMO is Pilot Road 3... Metzler is good and vfm and relatively cheaper.
