Hi mehul. The tyres fitted are Michelin Pilot Road 2 costed Rs20,000 for a set when purchased in April 2014.These are Dual compound tyre that offer hard compound in the middle for added wear & tear and soft compound on the sides for better grip while cornering.Originally posted by mehulbhavsar View Posthi Melroy. Nice to see you ride your bike to Lavasa one of the nice bikers destination. I wanted to know which tyres have you installed in your bike as I can see from this picture its not the stock tyres. Also, if possible please quote me the price for the same.
Front tyre size is 120/70 while rear size is 180/55.Front tyre fits but gap in the front mudgard becomes less due to the increase in sidewall from the earlier 60 to 70.Rear tyre fits the alloy wheel properly without issues considering the earlier width size of 160mm that came on the stock tyre.

Hi madonurway. The 2014 GT650R model has carried forward the design styling of the 2013 model with added graphics.Parts quality is the same.DSK service is now better than earlier.Spare parts costs are expensive as they are imported.Originally posted by madonurway View PostHi friends myself ravi looking for a SBK my budget is 5l. I lik gt650R styling & its sound but reading lot of complaints on parts & service. Only bike left other than that is ninja which dint impress me in style as well as sound but quality is very good no much complaints. Could any one tell me weather gt650r 2014 quality is improved or its still the same?
Any other bike advice are also welcome.

Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
I second that. Never trust. You check your bike and work on your bike yourself. On inspection I have found that they've charged for parts that weren't fitted and also such horrible shoddy job on fitting.. Needless to say I took apart the fairings and checked everything myself and fitted it properly back in place.

Rakshasa they can't charge more in Bangalore. It should be same. The service charge was 1200 rs when Satya Mitra was owner. I heard it's increased to 1500rs. Get the break up and check with DSK pune. Trust is not the option when one is dealing with Hyosung dealers!

Hi rakshasa. Front single disc brake pad cost Rs 5,000.I purchase it from the SVC and get it fitted by them. You can also purchase brake pads for GT650R from shops that deal in selling SBK accessories in your area.

Hi Mel,
Thanks for the information, Looks like they are charging extra in Bangalore. I am happy with the bike so these charges are ok for now. Hope they don,t increase the prices. Mel do you get front disk brake pads ? and how much do they cost if we buy it on our own ?

Hello Karan.Contact [email protected] your problems will be addressed.Coming to the stock battery, please chuck out that piece of crap and replace it to a Yuasa brand.Rest assured you will not be getting even a single problem afterwards. Order the Yuasa battery online from Bachoo Motors.Hope this post has helped you.Originally posted by invincible2110 View PostHi Guys,
My name is Karan and own a Hyosung GT650r. I have a problem and would be happy someone could help.
My bike battery keeps getting drained every third day since the last year or so..the bike now is 14 months old and the battery warranty is now void. I have been complaining about the battery since the last 1 year and also have this on email. They keep calling for the bike and say there is no problem with the battery. I spoke to someone from Pune who is the service manager and he talks like a complete illiterate, he is the one who has replaced one Mr. Amit who was quite good.
Now i want to email the head of hyosung in India and Korea to take this dealership to task since they have harassed me a lot. Could someone please urgently help!!
