The issue was so terrible that when I reached home and removed the key from the bike to turn the engine off speedo still remained on with the backlight along with temperature, fuel gauges etc. I waitid for 2 mins hoping it ll turn off by itself but it didn't so I removed d positive terminal from d battery. Next day I took it to a local service station where he blew pressurized air on the speedo console and nearby areas since then my speedo is working fine. Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
It seems that the speedometer sensor isn't working which needs to be replaced that cost around Rs5,300. The backlight display, signal indicators, rpm gauge is working fine. Since the sensor is not working the odometer isn't registering the kms covered.

Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
The problem of the speedometer not showing the motorcycle speed has been sorted out.The speedo sensor was fine, it was a problem with the sensor cable. Now the bike is displaying speeds properly and also the kms that is being covered is being registered on the odometer.

Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
Hi Guys,
My name is Karan and own a Hyosung GT650r. I have a problem and would be happy someone could help.
My bike battery keeps getting drained every third day since the last year or so..the bike now is 14 months old and the battery warranty is now void. I have been complaining about the battery since the last 1 year and also have this on email. They keep calling for the bike and say there is no problem with the battery. I spoke to someone from Pune who is the service manager and he talks like a complete illiterate, he is the one who has replaced one Mr. Amit who was quite good.
Now i want to email the head of hyosung in India and Korea to take this dealership to task since they have harassed me a lot. Could someone please urgently help!!

Re: Hyosung GT650R - Ownership Thread
Hi Mel,
Thanks for the information, Looks like they are charging extra in Bangalore. I am happy with the bike so these charges are ok for now. Hope they don,t increase the prices. Mel do you get front disk brake pads ? and how much do they cost if we buy it on our own ?
