The oil patch that was being noticed on the cylinder was due to the breather pipe. The mechanic removed the breather pipe clean't it inside out and fitted it back. Now the problem is resolved. For info, "A breather pipe is a pipe which allows an internal combustion engine to vent crankcase pressure out of the engine".

Does anyone here own a 2012 GT-650R? If so did they come with Comet stickers or was that sticker only meant for GT-250R? I just heard from a guy that his dealership sold all 2012 GT650Rs with a Comet sticker instead of the GT ones. He claims that the color scheme was changed when DSK took over. Can anyone confirm this?
          Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Don't leave the bike there. Try to understand what they're doing. Air filter cleaning, oil filter change, spark plug cleaning, disc pad cleaning, oil change. Not much work.
Here in B'lore the ownership changed to Surfer motors from Satya Mitra Motors. Things are even more worse now it seems. Service charges increased from 1500 to 2800 rs it seems. Plus they charge 200 rs extra for every small work like disc pad cleaning etc. 500 rs charged for water wash and chain lube!
                    God save Hyosung.

GT650R comes with adjustable damping settings for the front USD forks with markings of "S" & "H" which I have never made changes till date. Yesterday after reading the owners manual,I changed the damping to "S". And what a difference it made to my riding experience. It felt so much more easier riding the bike. I'm glad that I read the manual

So, how has your ownership experience been so far? Are you happy with your decision to go for Hyosung? How's the quality of the bike? Is it as bad as the general perception about it?

And still could not get "why"!! Is the bike not good or DSK is not upto the mark?
