Hi,

Just recently bought a Pre-owned GT 650R, Need some help from you guyz.

The Bike is completely Stock so;

I want to add a custom exhaust - which one is better?
The light at night is very poor - can anyone suggest some improvements with that?
Any Good Economical Person for Regular service and Maintenance apart from the hyosung workshop? My location is New Delhi

BTW what is the warranty period for this engine ?

Are you done with the warranty period ?

As this is one of the higher cc bikes I would recommend you to be with the SVC only. If there are incompetent SVC arounf you then please visit other one rather than going for any local mech.

Else there can be more complication with it.

Hi,

The first owner didnot followed the service manual so the bike is out of warranty brackets. Also suggest me on the other points i.e. headlight enhancements..

Aftermarket exhaust brands available are Two Brothers Racing,Leo Vince,Scorpion & IXIL exhaust. Yoshimura & Akrapovic aren't available for Hyosung brand. For lights improvement switch to HID.

The xenon HID bulbs are of OLLO brand that come with 10mths warranty,the xenon bulbs are of 35W. The projectors & lens are stock.The light output is fantastic,especially if you night riding on the highways were there's total darkness.

Yes also replaced the clip-on with a handlebar for a more comfort riding.

This is the company website OLLO -hid lights - hid kits , hid headlights , hid conversion kit , hid bulbs ,auto led lamp
Single HID bulb with ballast costed Rs 2,500.Contact Nicholas mob:9969155374.

Yes but that's cost of xenon HID bulb and ballast.
If you do need to change projectors and lens then that will cost more,I have kept mine stock.

Can i know what are itsbest features compared to others like r6 etc..
and whats the fuel economy..? Is it reasonable..

You can't compare performance of twin cylinder 72bhp bike to Yamaha R6 or CBR600RR which are inline4 engines, producing around 120bhp plus.

GT650R is a sporty looking with super sports riding ergonomics which is well capable of doing speeds over 200kmph. Mileage is around 19kmpl.

It's best feature over other bike you mentioned is that, you can get it in India without any hassle

No going to the dealer for shipping it, no tension of cops.

Other features as mentioned by @melroyal are uncomparable.

Never service such a vehicle from other mechanics.
There are other SVC that can help you with the servicing part.

As for the exhaust system go with the Two Brothers.
It has got very good sound and performance.

Three of us guys(2 Hyosung GTR650,Ninja650) did a nice long ride of around 280kms total distance.Travelled from Mumbai to Igatpuri on National Highway3.Stopped there for breakfast at Shagun Hotel, had a hot cup of chai & masala dosa.Then we started our ride back to Mumbai enjoying the landscapes.Here are some pics

Had an amazing time guyz! Its great when u have two experienced riders with you on your first ride.. had fun speeding not much (146kmph max at 5.5k rpm) got to be under 6k rpm in run in.. egarly waiting to complete the run in period to unleash the monster in this beast.. was happily cornering without any worries.. the bike will itself boost a lot of confidence in u
