[QUOTE=tej1;1097419]Anyone knows when honda crf250 is launching in india and ktm200exc

Crf250 hvnt heard even murmurs from honda india...
On ktm I hear that some of their dirt bikes will come to india as a CKD... so wouldnt be as cheap as the duke and rc which r ground up manufactured here... but neither will it be as expensive as a fully imported...
My dream bikes ccm gp450... all rounder enduro, adventure maybe amatuer motocross too
      Enduro 690
The issue with all the other hardcore dirt bikes is that they r not road legal... so u would hv to own a large pickup van to tranport these to ur offroad destinations

I have raised my handlebar's height by n inch and I am always having problem with the cables. Both clutch and accelerator cables. When the handlebar is turned to left, the play in the clutch lever is increased and the idle rpm goes down frm 1300rpm to below 1000 rpm which means it kills the engine. I have changed both my old cables because of this issue and the problem stil persists. Please help me with this issue

^^ A pic of the raised bars would help. Even Ive installed high and broad bars. No such issue here though. Routing may be the culprit.

I'm not sure I understand why your RPM should drop even if the clutch play is increasing when the handlebar is turned. The clutch play should have no bearing on your RPM unless there's an issue with your clutch.

I suspect the amount of play in your throttle cable needs to be adjusted and the routing checked. I took a look at the pictures you posted a few pages earlier:

                1. You have only raised the height of the handlebar by about an inch or less.
                2. You have added hand-guards.
                3. The clamps of these hand guards seem to be interfering with the throttle cable operation,

If necessary, adjust the throttle cable with the handlebar turned toward the side where the RPM drops. The cable can be adjusted with a 10mm open spanner both near the throttle and near the carburettor.

I found the problem is with the choke cable. The routing seem to b proper but stil the problem persists.

Anybody made lighting modifications to Impulse?
Looking at a used Impulse but will only buy it if the stator is big enough to produce enough power to run a 55watt halogen in DC mode.
                      I am back!

Stuck an HID angel eye projector on an impulse, works like a charm. Go for HID rather then halogen, that's my suggestion.

I'm in the process of doing this. The ZMA donor engine is being reconditioned for fitment in my Impulse. What would you like to know?

From what I understand, this is not an easy procedure, the donor vehicle will have to be declared as scrap first and taken off the RTA records. The number on the donor engine can then be changed to match the number on the Impulse engine. There is no 'official' way to do this, I plan to try this out for a little while and revert to stock.
