I need parts for my Impulse and nothing is available in Hyderabad.

My pet dogs have chewed on the front and rear mudguards of my bike and they look ugly. Can anyone help me source these parts and perhaps some others? I also need a chain-sprocket kit.

AFR means air fuel ratio.Air and fuel is mixed in carburetor and then feeded to the combustion chamber. This ratio is adjusted using fuel screw on your carburetor. More air means mixture is lean and more fuel means mixture is rich. It need to be in a balanced state between these.

I dont use it first time. However it works. Changed the carb slide 5000km back when I lost power in bike.. Clutch wires seem fine. Perhaps I will check the choke cable. Thanks for your comments Shivanshu.. Will wait for more suggestions if any..

Also I notice that rpm goes down when clutch is fully engaged. So much heat generated for just 30 min in moving traffic.
Otherwise for shorter distances bike runs without any issues.

    Should I be worried ?
Do you use choke wire when you start for the first time in a day, is it working? Also when was the last time you got the Carb cleaned up, check the slider and the needle? I think you need a good mechanic to tune up the Carb and also see if the clutch wires are lubed or not.

There are many experience riders here specially #Ankitvile, if he comes online, he will give a sure shot cure for your this issue.

The new issue that's cropped up now is that if I travel More than 40 min or I am in heavy traffic the idling goes more than 3000 rpm and I notice heat from the engine. Kindly advice what can be done to overcome this. Its such a pain..
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
So that means when the engine is heating up and idling goes up.... typical issue. After coming out of traffic when you ride normally again does the RPM comes back to the same?

The other rider finished all three stages on his red Impulse to finish 6th in the Alpine category on 11th October.

Lots of ups and downs in the raid with engine hiccups at high altitudes on the zma mill too above 14000+ft ASL crossing and climbing the Kunzum top. Testing the mettle of the riders the raid had all to throw and make the grown men cry fighting through altitude and obstacles !

First position btw in the Alpine category was achieved by Rana Pratap on his stock (over-bored) Hero Impulse
PS : I went in the service team for the two Impulses in the picture above !
Hi can U share the tyre specs used... Especially on the one which completed
