I clocked 32k on ODO. The front Disc and disc pad, chain sprocket needs to be replaced and could not find it anywhere. No spares at any Hero Showroom. Are any similar parts?

I am from Chennai, any place where i can find the spares?

Changed the meter assembly yesterday after more than a year of riding around without much input from bike purely on intuition on a lighter side feels like owning a new bike with oddo starting afresh

That's really good to know. Did you change the sprockets too or maybe altered the gear ratios?

Yeah I was also thinking of the same LED Light to put on. Also to replace the stock bulb I was thinking for this - Philips HS1 12636 City Vision Headlight Bulb (12V, 35W): Amazon.in: Car & Motorbike it has the same voltage and wattage as our Stock Bulb but it says it illuminates more light. Though dont know what the final product would be.

I will do a bit more research and by next month will do something about it.

Hmm..so err what i'd say/suggest going through Amazon for the while and circling out to a cheap and VFM product would be this

Tons of them and similar ones available ! I have a friend with these on his bike. They've been running just fine now with a year and half gone by. As per the bulb frankly it will but not make a much significant difference ! The two LED you're eyeing forward will do completely of what you require, still if you wish to go for that lil extra !

As per me I still don't have any sort of auxiliary lights as now. I ride still on stock bulb as night runs (mountains & touring) are very less (not city conditions because city roads are nicely lit stock does just fine for me) so I find it less necessary ! Simplicity and dexterity, thin line you know ! Just sayin !

And bike movin fine pal. Just over 36000kms on the ODO now.. engine has started consuming oil a little, tappets clatter, cones and races of steering stem have been pain in ass since start (worse now), ill dump the idea of reconditioning the stock mill chip on with some extra bucks and plonk in the ZMA's mill now i guess ...enough kms on the stock !

Hi Shiva here are the low beam and high beam samples. I would suggest you to go for 10w lights it will be less drain on the battery. Do let me know if you need any help about the fitment. I did it on my own😂

Yeah I bought flood type LED from Karol Bagh before going to Chanshal pass. But the LED bulbs have already started fusing up, and its not even 6mths. I was thinking to go from ebay or amazon, can you guide me for a good spot light, I know you know this machine inside out so pls advice. Also one of the shops has LEDs for the Cars so will have a look at it. I am actually looking for 2 20W LED light brother, and there are so many options on the internet that it really gets me confused, so let me know if you can recommend any.

How is the bike moving? Hey also what bulb would u suggest for the headlight? I was going through internet and found this - PremiumVision Moto Motorcycle headlights 12636C1 | Philips, are these good? As you know ther stock headlight bulb is of no use at all

Sancreation thanks for the explanation brother, really appreciate it. I was thinking of LEDs rather than Projector due to power consumption. Though I am not an expert in it, but I would prefer to use a two 20W spot beam for my Bike can you recommend any, thanks.

I went on a ride over the Independence weekend from Pune towards Panshet and on to Lonavla, featuring a decent amount of off roading, lots of mud, waterfalls. slippery rocks and gravel sections:

Started off from Panshet boating club.

Most of the road had already washed away, leaving behind just gravel and big puddles of water.

Lost my way once and landed up at the base of an overflowing dam.


Unfortunately couldn't proceed from Lavasa on wards to Amby Valley as previously planned due to a landslide that still hasn't been cleared after more than a week.

The bike performed flawlessly over the terrain, held it's own on loose gravel, small climbs and slippery surfaces. A lot of the time was spent standing on the saddle to manoeuvre quickly. Lot of knee deep slush crossing with utmost precaution too. It's time I worked on my knee and lower body muscles though, cause I had to sit on the saddle every now on then to avoid fatigue.
Total distance covered off road about: 62 kms. Had loosened the chain a bit and kept tire pressure up.
Faced just one problem after all that thrashing of the poor green chap: a nut had to be tightened on the horn to make it sound normal again.

Hi shiva ankit is right, don't go for local ones they just quit on u, i got mine from from ebay for 1600 for a pair. Also they are 30wats each. And they don't run ac current the should be connected to the battery. Use a seperate switch. Also both of them consume 60wTs approximately so there will be a drain on battery. And u will have to recharge them oftern. I will post a couple of pics soon once i get some unlit road. Also if u install them don't use in city limits cops will catch u for dazzling lights. Also align them correctly so they won't blind on coming traffic. Mine are working fine from past 7 months. Again don't go for local ones because of curiosity. Will post pics soon. Ride safe.

Also don't go for led ones brother go for projector onez.

Recently dumped the ones Sacreation went for within few 100kms. These poor quality ones are available easily at Karol bagh. The glue at the seal came off and the lens rattled at offroads pretty quick ! Better go for another LED ones also available at Karol Bagh. They come classified w.r.t watts. A 20watt LED or a combination of 10x2 (L&R) i think would be enough ! Got four of these Spot LEDs (different than the Flood LEDs) 20W, 1000rs each !
