Quite possible a hoax. But I'd love if it comes true. I've written to them many times on their suggestion page to bring impulse back. Lol.

Do u feel the difference in power and torque after reboring ? How much did it cost? And I guess it made the stroke longer right?

I hope the 40k kms you have done on the Impulse were niggle free. Wish you many more miles. Ride safe

Funny but I sold my KTM Duke200 back in 2014 to buy the Hero Impulse with the sole intention to go far, not fast. KTM suffered from lot of off road mishaps leading me to eventually sell it and downsize to Impulse. But the decision then wise and hard fruited in terms i wouldn't have imagined.

With 40000+kms now on the ODO it has propelled me to places unimaginable and still don't regret coming down from 23hp duke to a 150cc Impulse. Great to see another dual-sport enthusiast in the midst of a storm of faired and semi-faired street bikes. Great to see the dual sport adventure culture still thriving with the sole purpose bike (Impulse) ever made by any Indian firm.

I too have a desire to get a new/used Impulse.
Any day a better choice than RE Himalayan.

    Enjoy the ride

Thanks man. The bike rides brilliantly. Yes, I sure can feel the power loss but it's manageable. Haven't ridden her much but it's as good as any 150cc with literally zero vibrations. The suspension is bliss on our roads.

Thanks man. I got her from Meerut. A friend did all the hard work for me to find her.

Coming from a duke 390, this is so much fun to ride and i dont have to worry about potholes anymore. Waiting for the temporary registration to come in and then i shall exploit her to the fullest
