Is it advisable to get throttle body cleaned? I went o SVC and their first reaction is it can't be done. They are insisting on getting it replaced and cleaning will result in jerking issues.
I'm having donuts since they are just not willing to clean it.
Jerking issues in fact will be solved by cleaning the throttle body if it hasn't been cleaned for more than 10k plus kms. The SVC will insist on getting things replaced because it's quick money and lesser headache of trouble shooting, unless they have found some genuine fault in your throttle body that's worth replacing. If your TB is good, performs good and just needs cleaning, then go ahead.

Hi. i need a little help finding the type of 2 screws on duke 200 so i can order them online. The first one is the one holding the clutch lever ( its a screw with a bolt on the other side). the 2nd screw i need is the one on the silencer that tighting the gasket (ABRAZADERA).
If anyone have an idea please share it
Took it to SVC today. After we R&D figured out HT Coil was issue. The intake points were rusted at both ends and it wasn't giving enough power for ignition.

Called SVC today and they said battery issue. Got it charged but still bike no ignition. Tried to start in 3rd gear by pushing it, got ignition for 2seconds and then it refused to start for several following pushes. There is absolutely zero fuel reaching inside the engine. No error code on the console whatsoever. I'm suspecting fuel pump or throttle body which is known issue for these kind of cases.
I think I got my battery drained in the process but the bike is just not cranking up. Have parked the bike on a safe place and got my battery along with me. Will get it charged tomorrow and check if Battery is the issue.

Yes the fuel pump is making noise as usual but there battery starts showing low battery after some time. Upper Dipper and horn works perfectly fine
Usually a dying battery, low batt or a faulty charging coil can throw up different number series, but they're all related to poor voltage supply to ECM. If the bike fires up, turn off the head lights and try riding the bike. The voltage should help the bike to get on its feet, hopefully.
Don't keep cranking too much, you might drain the battery altogether. Try dhakka start and see if it helps, with someone to help push.
I've a new problem. The bike won't take ignition and it shows error code JG_1.9.0 after couple of tries. it does rest my timing console but could not find anything on the internet. Suspecting batter/stator cool. Stuck on highway for now. Any help would be appreciated.
Quick way to check few things, keep your kill switch in ON, turn your key to OFF and leave it for 10secs and again when you turn your key from OFF to ON do your hear the fuel pump priming(making electric wizzz noise)?

The oil pressure indicator had 6 short and 1 long blink. The SVC was clueless about this and reflashing the ECU stopped it for few weeks. There is one more issue. The accelerator cable assemble which connects to the throttle body does not rebound to it's normal after opening up throttle, I mean the part where accelerator cable is connected to the engine and has a spring attached to it. There is 1mm difference and when I manually push it back, it bring the rpm back to normal. This all started after I got my tank cleaned in last service.
the light that you are referring to is usually called the "MIL" (malfunction indicator lamp).. it will light up/blink based on the errors the ecu detects (i.e. basically the signals from the various electronics/sensors are checked by the ecu and it decides what is 'wrong/out of spec'). it is not an oil pressure indicator. if there is low oil pressure, you will see the ! mark light up(the one that lights up say when your low on fuel or side stand down) with the wording "low oil pressure" on the console.
there is a whole list of blink codes explained in the recent manuals.. do take a look.
now, if there was a blink code as you specified and the error was not really fixed (As in a mechanical fix) but only the DTC (diagnostic trouble codes) cleared, then it will only reoccur unless the underlying issue is fixed. They don't reflash the ecu, but only hit the clear dtc option on their diag tool.. this actually has to be done only after fixing the underlying issue.
based on your explanation, i'd suggest you take it to the svc, check and fix the throttle cable mechanism as it is supposed to normally be. maybe the free play needs adjustment, a new throttle cable or something was not put together properly at the throttle body side.
finally connect the diag tool and check for any error codes, if any then fix the underlying issue and only then clear the dtc.. simply clearing dtc doesn't fix the problem.
