    Perhaps this also can be the problem causing idle issues. The throttle butterfly shouldn't stick or grab, it should open and close smoothly upon accelerator operation.

    Check if the throttle cable is kinked somewhere. Secondly, make sure your throttle body is removed, and the throttle action checked, along with idle stepper motor. If it hasn't been cleaned, it's time to clean it now. As carbon deposits too can hinder the throttle opening.

    The oil pressure indicator had 6 short and 1 long blink. The SVC was clueless about this and reflashing the ECU stopped it for few weeks. There is one more issue. The accelerator cable assemble which connects to the throttle body does not rebound to it's normal after opening up throttle, I mean the part where accelerator cable is connected to the engine and has a spring attached to it. There is 1mm difference and when I manually push it back, it bring the rpm back to normal. This all started after I got my tank cleaned in last service.

    any blink code on the console ? it could be the idle control stepper motor (located on the tb) issue.. or maybe even a bad regulator-rectifier (i came across a d200 at the svc with an idle issue and it was a faulty unit). connect the diag tool and run a check to see if it throws up anything.

    I'm having throttle issue off late. When I start the bike it kind of stutters for first minute and often ends up shutting the engine. Also after riding few kms the idle rpm when using clutch or in neutral increases drastically almost to 5-6000. I'm thinking it would be throttle body but am not sure. Any of you ever faced this issue?

    Hi again forum. Yesterday i recieved an exhaust from china (ar replica ) and installed it on the bike! looks are great and sound too but there is one problem!
    Its so loud .... and i mean veeery loud. i installed the db killer that came with it but its not a big difference in volume.. i am thinking that i need a db killer installed on the outer part of the exhaust and not like this one

    do i have any alternatives for a different db killer? its really annoying and have to do something and quickly..

    please ignore, 4.5k was for throttle body not fuel pump

    I was thinking i finally got rid of the fork oil issues.😑..anyways i will check it out. Thank you for the promt reply.👍👍

    Since you've replaced your fork oil, the dragging or twisting of the handlebar to one side can be due to incorrect fork quantity used in either of the forks..     Thank you for the reply. Actually what i did was not sudden braking, but gradually only applied the brakes to see how it behaves. Am kind of getting worried, because front wheel skids are becoming commom occurence for me nowadys.thats too when i brake in a straight line, the front wheel starts to skid sideways.     Removing the Duke's exhaust is, yes, a pain in the arse, as you pointed out, especially the muffler. Installing it and undoing it takes some dexterity, but it's not a rocket science, you can easily get the knack of it by the time you remove and install. It's the same work as when you uninstall, nothing much harder.

    I was just curious about an issue i am having. While riding above 40km/hr single handed, and you apply front brake, the handle suddenly jerks a little as if the bike would go out of control, if you had more speed. Is this normal for all bikes? Can this be a fault with my bike?

    Ivan, now that you've changed your CCT, don't worry about it too much, it's a single cylinder bike after all, and once heated, you will hear some mild ticking which is totally normal, these are basically the interference sounds of the rotating components itself, don't worry about that. Secondly, you won't break your engine by installing an after market exhaust, but it's better to program your ECM and air flow for the exhaust system that you're installing, helps gain the best of the modifications. If you're not able to get it programmed as per the new exhaust, nothing to worry, take it easy and don't rev the nuts out of it each time.
