Could be stator coil or battery issue. My experience was that the battery was not picking up the charge properly.

Console is showing battery low warning for sometime during runtime..but i dont have any starting problem or all the electric components are working properly...can anybody expalain why??

how many km done on the spark plug ? is it the iridium plug ?

Yes, I am thinking of visiting svc on weekend and see what they say after checking the following parts.
Bike was serviced 4 Kms ago, but I think my NGK spark plus is around 1.5-2 years old.

there is a filter on the pump itself ( a white pouch kinda thing), clean that out and check. (you need to take the fuel pump out)
then get the fuel pump pressure tested. the svc should be able to do that.
how old is the spark plug on the bike ?
check the condition of air filter, and maybe also replace the fuel filter and see.
clean the tb again.. make sure the throttle cable is routed and adjusted properly.
another thing i can think of is, maybe the injector needs cleaning.

so before you blindly replace the pump.. check and service the above parts and see how it goes.

Hi guys, I have a 2013 model duke 200 and just done over 66k Km. Recently I have started facing issues with low end pickup of the bike. For example, if I am ridding in 4th gear and I have to slow down for a speed breaker, I reduce the speed and shift down to 2nd gear but while picking up speed after the speed breaker the bike does not respond to the throttle for 2-3 seconds. At that moment it feels like the bike is not getting fuel, because giving more throttle does not change anything.
Its really difficult riding the bike in this condition and I have also been lucky quite a few times and saved myself from accident.
Now little history about the bike-
I am on the stock fuel pump and the throttle body has been cleaned once. Clutch has also been changed once, apart from this everything else is stock. I feel like its time to change fuel pump or throttle body. Experts please share opinion, it would greatly help me. I hoping to keep the bike for as long as I can. Thanks

Hi all! I am owner of duke 200 3 years now and i am happy with all it offers. I want to ask something. Today while i was riding home (20-25 km/h) on a corner i stall my bike cause i was holding something with my left hand and didnt press clutch in time ( i did use slightly the foot brake for 2 secs and the back wheel blocked cause the road was sandy and had gravel).
After i released the foot brake as i said the bike stalled and was moving for 4-5 meters with the back wheel blocked till it immobilized .. Is there any chance that my chain orsprockets ( or the engine or something?) was damaged from that action? I think i heard something when i stall my bike and the wheel blocked but maybe was just the gravel or my imagination. I did google it if stalling the bike can brake something but except riders safety couldn't find something
As i said i didnt crash and the bike seems ok and didnt notice any deference after the incident. I checked it only for ten minutes till i get home thats why i ask your opinion.

Thanks a lot for your feedback Sid. I have ordered the Viaterra Fly and Rapide.

I had discussed with Viaterra representative before ordering and they suggested rapide as an alternative since, cross compatibility with other bikes was also one of the priorities.

I just hope it will be pillion friendly. I didn't choose claw as it was simply too big and would completely restrict the pillion seat.

I really liked the velox, specifically the ability to use a single one on the left side.

But Viaterra Fly will now serve that purpose.

I sold my velox bags off to a friend who liked them very much. Nothing wrong with them bags as such, I simply am a light packer and after trying out a tank bag (guardian gears shark tank bag, provided by another friend @Ajay Vishwanath) i fell in love with this tank bag for its space and practicality for my use case. i paired it up with a small backpack and was sufficient for my requirement..(was able to do a 6 day trip recently using this combo).

I've only used the velox with a pillion once for a few minutes in pouring rain in munnar, and pretty sure the pillion wasn't comfortable (rather depends on the pillions physique).. and i never tour with a pillion so it never bothered me.

The velox is specifically made for the dukes, so using them on other bikes might not be straight forward or might just not fit properly.

the claw is massive thing, and it tends to shift towards one side if not packed and fastened properly.. seen this happen myself.. not to mention it renders the pillion seat unusable for a pillion.

If you want a combo, then the velox along with a tank bag would be a better bet to maximize space utilization with some space for a pillion.

This is my feedback and remember i am a light packer (e.g. not a camera junkie carrying whole load of peripherals), just the essentials and never without the basic spares and tools

Got the bike back today. The fuel tank part cost is 1526 after 5% part discount and including gst. Overall damage of 3870 including service and periodicals. Can't figure out labour cost of tank fitting coz they have charged me 340 labour including service.

Just as I suspected. Yes, it's better to get the tank replaced. Though it can be mended by plastic welding and supergluing, it won't last long, and becomes only worse. Keep your observations posted, and the bill along.

Gave it to SVC on Thursday, there is carck at the bottom above fuel pump holder, don't know how it happened coz haven't dropped the bike.

Getting the tank replaced now, hopefully will be getting the bike tomorrow evening. Though I had to ride the bike with fuel leaking since could not keep it at the highway for entire day.

Hi Sid, sorry for quoting this old post, but can you please tell me how comfortable is Viaterra velox with a pillion? Asking this as I can barely see any space for the pillion to keep their feet on.

Can we use velox on other bikes as well? Such as the CBR/R15v3/Ninja/R3.

Also, can we use both velox and claw together? Or can you suggest a good combination of saddle bags and tail bags.
I don't want to sacrifice the pillion seat when using the saddle bags alone.
