Hmm btw I see good amount of ns and rs in my town and irritating to see many ns 160.. diluting the appeal of ns 200

    Hi
I had the same problem after my first service as the SVC guys messed up something. I went again & they fixed it in a day. When I asked the cause, they said it was some kind of wiring issue. I didn't believe it though.

Just visit your SVC & ask them to fix it. Don't request them rather command them otherwise they would show no interest at your problem.

Re: Pulsar 200 NS Owners Review and Experiences

    Hello all,

I am planning to ride (with pillion) on My 2015 NS from Bangalore-Trivandrum with a top box as well as saddle bags. It is close to 700 KM ride (one side) and this is the first time am doing this much long stretch that too with Pillion. I am sure in this group we have experienced riders, hence writing here expecting some tips.

I know pillion comfort is on the lower side for NS, so I will manage with a air cushion seat, however please let us know the other things that I should be worried about with a pillion ride.

It is causing a screeching sound for every rotation of the read wheel.
Took it to the service center. Kalyani bajaj, mekhri circle, bangalore.
They said it is normal and that the plate needs time to get adjusted. They told me to go on long ride and it stop by itslef.

I noticed that the back disk brake, even though i don't use it 99% ( i am not kidding ) of times, was hot(not warm) to the touch after just 1.5 kms of ride ( from home to ser center).
This is causing me to panic. Is it normal? Shall i take it to a local mechanic?
    Please advice.
When I replaced my 200NS rear disc pads, I too started experiencing this issue. The gap between the rotor disc and the pads is to be adjusted. I went to authorised service center who did this free of cost (paid Rs.100 to mechanic informally who was behind me for getting the cash). The noise was not there when I made a test ride. But soon after the noise came back but not to that extent. Every time this noise comes up, I will try to drive with rear brake pressed slightly for few seconds which will make the sound disappear. Really do not know the reason why it is happening again. Another culprit could be the disc itself which might not be perfectly flat. I will try one more time with the same service center and if it fails I will try a local mechanic.
