Quite possible the carburetor is tuned towards rich becuase of which in morning bike feels revhappy and in the night when temperature is little bit down engine is not able to burn that extra rich mixture hence little bit of vibes felt.

Re: Difference in engine behaviour day and night

I have a dream yuga which is 2 year old and done 8000km on ODO.

Bike is peppy, easy to handle but gear ratios seems to be very less and there looks to be a need for 5th gear

Suspension is not that great like Hero bikes or Bajaj bikes

Engine doesn't look like a Honda one like Shine or Unicorn

Rear tyre looks so thin and it tends to skid on corners

Recently after a regular service it started a peculiar metals crashing noise from the engine and the bike was sent to the service guys for 5 times, but problem remain same. Today I have complained about this to honda on their website and again got a call from the service today evening and my bike is with them. I do not know what is wrong with it. I regret buying this tiny bike and could have gone for the Unicorn

As I feel it is the same story with almost all the 100 and 110 cc segment bikes just made for some FE and everything is cheap and non quality

Has anyone encountered with such engine noise thing

I have the neo, not yuga.. but no noise problems so far in 8000 kms. Maybe because I serviced the bike on my own reading the manual (changed engine oil thrice and spark plug once) , I dont trust service center

Hmm That's a good thing you did. These days every service centre people are same. Unfortunately I do not find time to do the things myself. I am thinking to resend the vehicle back to the service centre once again to check with them.

However I regret not going for a 150cc one like Unicorn

I have ridden both of them splendor feels little and underpowered. But neo feel good and powered.

Yep, neo pulls away and overtakes splendors easily and seat also longer which is why I preferred it. Mileage will be very much similar as Neo is 5kg lesser than splendor

Dream Neo / Yuga valve clearance

                          Guys,
Today I set the valve clearance in my Neo. It will help to solve the vibrations that you may experience after running-in. Valves get little bit tight on this Honda machine by 9000kms. Also disregard the 10w30 and start using 20w40 oil after 5k kms.
                          Things needed:
Engine must be cold 12 hrs before doing this procedure
                          1. Feeler gauge (Stanley from ebay Rs.400)

Remove the seat and petrol tank of your bike (you will need 12/13 ring spanner) Bike looks like this

Now you have access to the head easily. Use 8mm ring spanner to open the 4 valve cover bolts.

It will look like this inside, The left one is the exhaust valve, right one is intake valve tappets.

Now set the Top dead center (take care no dust enters into valve train). Rotate the rear wheel anticlockwise till you see the T mark in the timing window like this.
Now try shaking the rocker arms , if it is able to move freely you are in right position, Else move anticlockwise till you find the T mark again, now rocker will able to shake little bit. This is TDC

Now set the clearances using feeler gauge as shown below after loosing the locknut using 9mm ring spanner. You can use the small nose plier if you didn't have the Valve screw adjustment tool to hold it tight.
                          Intake clearance: 0.10 mm
                          Exhaust clearance: 0.15 mm

After setting clearance you should feel the slight drag after tightening the locknut.

All set, now you can put the valve cover back after applying a thin film sealant over the gasket

Good pictures Dude Creative, some additional comments from my experience of setting tappets on Dream Yuga
The inspection window on my bike can be removed with a screw driver, dont need allen key
To set to TDC I used the method of putting the bike in 4th gear and rotating the back wheel slowly until i find the T mark in inspection window, did you use same procedure?
Looks like access to adjust clearance is better with removal of Tank, I tried without removing tank and although it can be done I should have probably tried removing tank for easier access
Do speed breakers break speed or break backs !!!

Yes dream_victor, used rear wheel anticlockwise to find TDC. One more interesting thing was the cam sprocket had some writing on it, it should be not upside down. It was exhaust stroke and rocker arms were tight

Re: Dream Neo / Yuga Fuel line cleaning / servicing

Fuel lines/Carburetor are very important in affecting engine riding behavior. Clogged fuel lines are dangerous and cause your engine to run lean and blow up later.
Here I will show how you clean up the fuel dirt mentioned in every service interval. Better to do every 5000 kms. In my neo it is clogged (petrol pumps are never pure). This maybe applicable for other small Honda/Herohonda bikes

                                Tools needed:
                                22mm edge spanner
                                10mm ring/edge spanner
                                some petrol
                                Mug to catch excess petrol

                                1. First you have to ride the bike till reserve so that fuel in tank becomes less
Drain the petrol from tank by removing the fuel line tube from carburetor (reserve position). (Keep in off position while removing). You need a clean bottle to drain it.

                                2. Now use 22 mm spanner to open the big petcock nut below fuel tank. Catch any extra fuel that comes down with mug. Shake bike back and forth and anything to remove all junk fuel from tank.

                                3. A fuel filter like below will come out. This will be most times clogged due to worst petrol pumps /even good Shell pumps have junk. This picture is after removal of those dirt with the petrol we just removed.

                                4. There is another stuff called Fuel strainer cup below the petcock to be removed with 10mm spanner. It must also be cleaned. This is where fuel leaves the petcock. Dont ignore it, it had lot of fine mud particles.

All cleaned now reassemble them back with good tightness so that fuel would not drip from there.
It is preferred to put fresh petrol (rolling to the nearest petrol bunk).

Next part is carburetor cleaning which I will post soon. Dont do carb cleaning first. First do the above procedure and make fuel lines clean.
Now bike will respond better than before. Enjoy Dreamingg!
