      Hi Guys,

      My name is Shravan and i'am from Bangalore. i have booked a CL350 and expecting delivery by the end of this month. I'am very exited and at the same time very scared due to posts about RE'S pathetic after sales service. Can someone here please enlighten me on what needs to be looked into before taking delivery??? Do we need to do a proper PDI ourselves or leave it to the dealer. Please suggest

        Do the PDI yourself. RE being handmade to great extent hence chances of small niggles are always there. Google for the list of things to be checked

          thank you for the kind words. I have booked my bull at HSR services Blore. As i said before i'am expecting delivery at the end of this month as he told me that my bike can come anytime during the month of November. I asked him for an approximate date so that i can start off with the loan processing but he says that he will call me when the bike comes. He does not give any other answer apart from this. Is the guy trying to rip me off or is there any validity in his statement. Please let me know.

            Sadly this is their usual attitude and happened same with me. But after that all never ending waiting period I started loosing my patience and started calling and visiting them often. Before they told it would come sometime in the end of the month but after lot of pressing they said ok come on 28th of Nov and finally they gave on 30th of Nov

              Hey bro ,

              Its the same everywhere man,
              I went to bok my bull today ,
              They told me the bike would be delivered anywhere between 3 and 6 months.(bullet 500carb)
              No specific dates or even month actually.
              Id say they have no clue when the bikes are gonna arrive.

                Thanks for the updates guys. I really appreciate it. I'am going to the dealer tommorow to have another check. Will keep everyone updated on the progress made. Very sad that the dealer is non co-operative. If presales is this bad then i'am wondering how bad will aftersales be at these guys.

                Once i get my bike i plan to change the engine oil and oil filter every 250 KMS instead of waiting for the first oil change at 500 KMS or 1 month which comes earlier. Hopefully 4 times in 1000 kms should free up the engine. I had done the same with my RTR when i brought it new and have not faced any engine related issues till now.

                  I have Upgraded to Yamaha RD 350 Handle Bar with Stay Bar + Bucket Seats - Split from Perfect Seat Makers , i must say it is the maximum comfort
                  Stock Seats Sucks to the core

                  hi shravan,

                  I would suggest go with the manual defined Schedule for oil Change Procedures no need of changing it with 250kms time span. moreover you can change oil to Motul instead of what RE is offering they call it Liquid gun.
                  Also don't forget to add Leg Guard on high Priority

                    Absolutely NO NO for this 250km oil change. Go as per manual. The RE engineers are all qualified and definitely know better to recommend oil change after 6K kms. Do not put such a big hole in your pocket buddy

                            Hi Jaysankar,

                            Congrats on your Bull. Please post some pics so that we may all drool. Thanks once again. BTW i checked with RE last week and it seems that i might get my bull delivered in about 15 days to a month's time. As of now they have only silver in stock and will be getting Maroon soon. I was thinking of picking up the silver one in the pic but my wife was not too keen on the colour so i decided to wait and get the maroon itself.
