ah!! that bucket seat & RD 350 handle bar! this combo gave me acute pain in the lower back, had to switch to stock rider seat within 2hrs of installing. I found the stock seat and RD handle bar most comfortable during long rides - over 350-400kms one way. The pillion seat is wider than the stock, however a little stiffer. I as a pillion rider did not face any problem with the stiffness due to better width of the seat.

All the best!!

Cheers!!!

Thank you buddy. How do you find them, how much comfortable and are they lighter than stock seats? What's the cost?

Hi Team,

Took delivery of my Bull yesterday evening. The delivery experience was nothing to talk about. It was just about ok. Pls find the pics attached. The rubber bush that is present on the engine had fallen off. I have put it back again but i'am curious if it will stay there. Apart from that everything is fine. As of now the ODO stands at 25 KM and I have filled fuel for 500 rs yesterday.

Congrats buddy. Have a wonderful affair with your bull. Don't worry about that rubber thingy on engine, just tap it gently and make it tight with the help of a hammer or something else. They do a good job in absorbing some of the engine vibrations, so they have their role, keep it in the place.

Hi gyan_recl350,

Thanks for the tip. Will check that out. BTW i noticed toay morning that oil had dripped on the floor where my bike was parked. I have taken some snaps to show what is this all about. Am I to be worried about this or is this a normal process. Somehow I dont trust the RE guys with PDI. I can tighten the nuts below with a spanner if needed also. Please advise.

Clean the drain bolt and place the bike in a different place to check if it leaks again... I guess it is the oil that was sticking to the drain bolt during the oil change..

@shravan57 I do agree with Siddharth. Clean and if possible tighten it and then again check if there is an oil leak. If it is there then better show it to RE guys immediately and quite obviously they might say "OK we would check it during the first service", but then insist to be rectified immediately, after all RE has given 1 year warranty so you have all the rights to get it fixed.

I have thought of the same thing and have cleaned the drain bolt and placed the bike in a different place to check if it leaks again. I will have a check tommorow morning. I will keep you guys updated. Thanks for the assist.

Well I found this combo as the best one. May be because of my Weight its over a quintal :P
Stock seat are Stupid from my point of view and after upgrading to this seats i found it difficult to maneuver the bike in city and a little back pain, so one of my bullet friend suggested me to upgrade the RD 350 handle bar with Stay Bar , Stay bar avoids the vibrations of mirror on high speeds.

Also on Stock seats , for a bumpy road i felt that i will fell off the bike on 70+ again a personal opinion, the springs which are attached to the stock rider seat is of no use.
gyan_recl350 : Comfort is up to maximum level on this combo did 350+ kms on a single day [Mumbai - Ganpati Pule] with a frequent breaks, other friend was on stock seats and handle bar as in above pic silver classic 350 was very much tired and had to take frequent breaks after 30-40 kms.
Coming to Lighter part : they are softer compared to Stock and the Width of the Seats are much comfortable to rider and pillion

I need to know the Backrest if any of you guys have put on c3?
I am avoiding TB Back rest as is not worth a shot.
Any aftermarket suggestion would be appreciated

Hi Team,

I checked today morning but did not find any oil on the floor. Looks to be a good sign. I went to the showroom to collect my tax paid receipt and went to the guy who did my PDI and told him that idling is quite high. He twisted the screw on the carb and the idling came down a bit. Now i'am able to hear the thump and it is more regular than before. Just wanted to check if this is allright or should I visit the service center and check the idling with a digital RPM gauge. Any suggestions on how to complete the run-in will be appreciated. Is it alright to take the bike for a long drive to places like nandi hills/ooty this early??? please let me know.

Shravan, if you get the carburetor tuned with a taco meter, no doubt that can be very good but even without that a good mechanic can get it right. Make sure along with RPM A/F(air/fuel) screw is also set properly so as to make sure the bike is neither running lean or too lean and neither it is running rich.

Run in period regulation are quite simple. For first 500 kms, do not cross 50KMP mark. Do not run the bike for long continuously (take break in between. Like say after running for 40-45 minutes). Do not run continuously on the same throttle, make sure you are varying the throttle. Now after 500 kms all the above apply again but now you can take your bike till 65-70. Also do not immediately expose to the speed, what I mean is, let's say for first 500 kms you were running your bike under 45 km/h and after 500 suddenly you took it to 65-70. So do not do that rather expose to the speeds gradually. Let it ride on 50-55 for some kms, then gradually increase and ride on 60 for some days and so on.

Another very important thing, always use Electric Start on cold starts and warm then engine well for 1.5-2 minutes on cold starts. Do not race the engine after starting.

Rest all normal stuff, cleaning, oiling the chain, petrol from a good petrol bunk, regular service etc and above all 'lot's of love for it ' .

@classic.infinity Hey thanks buddy for the detailed reply
