Why don't give a shot at bike rental services like wickedrides here in Bangalore?? I am sure you will get a real picture of the bike like handling etc, if you get one, that too in different riding conditions, in different tarmacs for longer duration.

I did think of that, but I noticed that wicked ride has removed the Ninja 300 from their line up. I should have taken it when I had the chance!

Just setup Stebel Airpipe Horn in my Ninja 300. Wanted to share how the horn is setup. DIY job. Searched for videos with Ninja horn setups, couldnt find many. I have my cousin who is a keen enthusiast, without whom, i wouldnt have dared to do it. Watch my doggie's response to the Stebel Airpipe sound in doors. The sound is awesome and intended strictly for Highway use and not for scaring people around. Sorry for not posting the DIY job in detail, as it it took two days to install - was being slow and steady and careful. Hope it helps you.

Sorry but is that loud horn needed? I have heard ninja's horn and i found out it to be sufficient. It can scare people in highway also.

Again apologies but just putting up my perspective. But good DIY.

Cars, buses, trucks and pedestrians alike these days treat 2 wheelers like they don't exist. Your horn will put a fear in their head that will stay there for a long time.

I hope you don't annoy your pupper too much with that though.

Anyway, Ninja owners in Bangalore I have a query to make of you. I was ambling through the internet, puttering through various motorcycle related sites and suddenly a wild website appeared. I had never heard of the place, even though for the better part of a year, I worked right opposite to this place. Anybody here heard of/tried out the service here?

                TIA for your time.

I always get mine serviced from there. Its a lot better than Bajaj Service Center, but costlier. They charge labor on per hour basis (approx 1000 bucks per hour for fairing bikes above 500cc, should be a bit lower for 300cc)
Really professional service. If you love your bike, get her serviced here. Dont forget to take appointment before your visit.

Nope, I am scared of someone \ domestic animal jumping in our lane when doing high speeds. I have seen villagers especially old people just walk thru once they see no bigger vehicles around. Also, this horn will help me when trucks change lanes suddenly without indicators and no hand signals. I am always cautious, but believe this will help me more. I do anticipate many things that might not happen remotely too, but gets me nervous. This horn will help in restoring peace for a certain level. I am not into doing high speeds constantly, talking abt. doing 100 - 120 KMPH.

Provided this horn has two tones, one a soft one for ciy and it doesnt scare anybody, did a test run today and other one for Highway. Dont know how long this will hold up. Lets see. The pipes shoudl with hold the heat from engine, but dont know for how long.

Honestly, it is too loud to my taste too while testing at home. I was looking at Screaming banshee or stebel single unit horn, but somehow went in with this. But nevertheless, it doesnt sound that annoying when i am in open road. Anyway my objective was well served. I dont want trip over or get killed nor kill someone else. If that requires this type of horn, i dont mind. I certainly will not annoy public by honking near them, This is just for highway usage and for people who cross unaware of my speeds.

Then I would say improve your riding skills(don't take offensive), your horn would contribute very little. Animals would come no matter which horn you will keep, it's the temperament which you will use at that time. Just imagine you are on the road and some rider comes with loud horn wouldn't it scare you. And I guess your bike is new and you have voided your warranty too by tempering stock wirings.

Agree with this guy. Using horns meant for big vehicles confuse those ahead of you. Ideally I would install special loud horns available for bikes.
