U get real time tune on the bazzaz, whereas area p takes into account all factors of your geographical locations and gets u a so called "customised" map.
Well in case of bazzaz u can keep on improving your maps from a said base map, and u are at an advantage using bazzaz since your full system leo vince incorporates an O2 bung for the ease of auto tuning. The only draw back of bazzaz is no customer service outside the States.
But in the case of area p, customer service is second to none and their maps is close to what u can achieve with bazzaz afm.
If you wanna squeeze every bit of power from ur 300 then the best is a custom dyno tune. But this is one time and it got to be done from a renowned tuner.
Honestly I'd go with the bazzaz , don't ask me why though

To a great extent I agree with you on the fuel unit part. However, it's been experienced by a few friends in U.K. that there is a certain element of black art to fuel tuning that auto tuning just cannot replicate. While auto tune will sort out the fuelling to a large extent (about 90%), it can't replace the skills of a experienced tuner. Kerry Bryant of Area P has put the Ninja 250 and now the Ninja 300 on the dyno extensively in various configurations. They have a huge library of maps. There will be very few companies out there that have worked so extensively with the Ninja.

Also do not underestimate the importance of a skilled dyno operator in tuning. Even if a dyno was (which is not) available in Mumbai, that is only part of the story. How the dyno is operated and how the readings are interpreted have a big bearing on tuning.

The bottom line is that if you want the maximum out of a given setup then you need to get the black art of fuelling right. Now the issue is that yes while the Area P is not as sophisticated as the Bazzaz unit, the quality of custom fine tuned maps give it quite a heavy punch in the fight. I would like go for the Bazzaz unit based on the superiority of the hardware, but it falls a little short on the software part. Ultimately, what matters is getting the fuelling right, without which all of this is a waste of resources.

I have a question, how many of you guys are following the manual run in (rpm limits) very strictly? Because personally I think 4k limit on this bike is a bit too much.

I agree. I rode it for 1 week at 4000 rpm, but now I'm pushing it further. 4000 seems too low to push all the way into 6th...

^^^ yup it's ridiculous. Actually, it's kind of funny. A close friend's 2004 ZX-12 has the same instructions. On the ZX12 at 4,000 rpm it does about 110 kmph. On the ZX12 it's sensible but on the 300? :-\

I wonder what are the run in instructions on the Ninja 600.

N650 does 80 kmph at 4k rpm. But with the tourque available at low rpms u wouldnt mind riding it at 4k rpm. But 300 is best ridden at 5 k rpm for runnin. The next leg can be done at 7k rpm.

Very true, like I said to get best of ur machine u'll need a custom dyno tune, more importantly from a experienced tuner.
It's been a family business for Mr. Kerry Bryant and a lifetime of experience now invested in designing full systems and sound perception when it comes to the black art of fuelling.
U surely won't be disappointed with area p

KTM meerut is located in Bacha Park.
On road price of Ninja300 in Meerut is 3,90,860/- (they took extra 500 for some affidavit related to address proof)
Funny thing is, the guy who was cleaning my Ninja asked for 551/- "Sir 4L ki bike li hai itna toh banta hai"
