Firstly, CONGRATS on a STUNNING machine! The White 300 looks gorgeous.. I think it's the first time my heart did a lil flip when looking at a pic of a bike..
    I think I'm in love!

4,000rpm limit is utter bull! I'd say 6-7,000rpm is more like it. For the first 400 - 500km atleast. Congrats once again mate, can't wait for your write-ups to begin!
A good rider has balance, judgment, and good timing. So does a good lover!

^ What! Already? Were you riding by the edge of the road? That's where all the debris gets piled up

I never ride on the edge of the road. Never. Its not just about the debris, its also a potential riding hazard as essentially you have boxed yourself from one side and do not have room to maneuver in case of any emergency. This was something different. It was a 3 to 4 inch aluminum rod that is used in riveting guns for locking rivets. What is seen in the pic is just the tip of the iceberg. Anyway, got the issue sorted out. Was anyway planning to have Ride On TPS put in the tyres this weekend before this incident. Will post a detail post on the same once it is done.

I have taken the decision to go for the Leo Vince LVI full exhaust with Area P fueling unit.
                Hi

Are you aware of AreaP Quietcore ? It the the BEST.
Go for it. Loud enough to make You smile but not too loud.
I have one on my 250r and perfect.

Any exhaust with db killer will also affect its TONE and PERFORMANCE.

Yes, I am aware of the quite core. However, I found it to be disproportionately longer than the other exhaust systems (the other one that's really long is Arrow's full exhaust). Also its is still about 95db in sound out put. AreaP's reputation for its Ninja 250 exhaust is sterling. If one is looking for performance only, then nothing even comes close to their systems and their prices.

It's just that cops keep harrying you out here. I had a Race Concepts FFE on my R15. While the performance was superb, I got tired of the constant loud sound and cops keep hassling. Now I have Leo Vince GP Corsa with db insert and while the performance is not comparable to the RC system it's still quite respectable (without the db insert it would match the RC). The bonus is that it's so quite that no cop ever gives me a second glance.

Everyone: looks like Murphy's law has truly taken a liking to me ... Today morning while doing my daily pre-ride check, I found that there is a oil leak. Called the service centre about the problem. Will take the bike there tomorrow for inspection and rectification. Will post a detail report on the problem and quality of service.

Update: the oil leak was from the oil drain bolt. It was tightened to the required torque specs. Problem solved.

Was a silent follower of this thread for a long time but i think now I can speak and add my cents to it...

Me and another friend Deepan both from Mumbai Xbhp chapter got our N300 and have started njoying the green life

Many experts have spoken a lot about the bike and technical stuff and number so I want to put down some basic point from a riders point (Keep in mind I use to Ride V1 R15 before)

Report of my first run in ride-

                                Kms Done: 240

                                What I like so far:

Relaxed and yet sporty position not too hard on your Wrist & Back (compared to R15)
                                Exhaust note
                                Smooth gear shift
                                Powerful horn

What I didn't like so far:

Hard seat (Feels like seating on piece of wood with leather sheet on it)
RVM look great but I was not satisfied with their actual functionality
Manual say's you got to keep her under 4k RPM before you complete first 800 kms which I think any would DISLIKE I strongly feel it should be somewhere around 6K for first 1000kms

                                Few pics from the ride..
