  • Re: Kawasaki Ninja 300 Ownership Experience

Had left a message on Kawasaki India page on when they are opening a showroom in Goa . after a week received a message that operation is expected to start within few months and tentative dates will be informed to me at later stage .

So make a note current and prospective Kawa Owners from Goa , I have postponed Ninja 300 purchase till end of Rains if they fail to come up with a showroom in Goa then going for R3

Kawasaki India has prescribed a huge increase in labour costs at the SVC. For CKD (N300, N650 etc) labour costs are now Rs. 1200/- per hour and according to the SVC here in Pune they estimate a service of 2.2 hours. For CBU models (ZX10, Z900, N1000 etc) labour cost is Rs.1600/-.

That's quite bad news; Kawa bikes were always known for their extreme maintenance costs. This will again add more to people's woes...

Time to buy a paddock stand, oil pan and get one's hands dirty.

Very rightly said..have been thinking about it for a while now.

Now will have to take a plunge and pick it up at all costs, since the scenario is getting pretty bad.

For 650 price can be justified but for 300 it's absolutely expensive, I don't know what Kawasaki is thinking after the split.

                  • Good Garage for Kawasaki Ninja

                    Hello xBHPians,

I own Ninja 300 and I need to know if we have good garages/mechanics who can fix after market accessories like integrated frame sliders front & rear, rear tyre hugger & integrated led tail lights. I know this can be DYI but I am not too confident on doing it myself. I live in Pallikaranai, so I would prefer nearby area including OMR/ECR.

                    Regards,
                    Ark

IMO the engine cowl at bottom could have been black. Anyways good job overall and please post some more pictures in clear daylight. BTW how much did it cost to you?

I agree ,just the wheels with the Ninja monogram in gold would look classy but to each their likes. you could get bar-ends in gold too anyway looks like a good job..
