re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews
ravikr9 Congratulations for the new wings.
Just wanted to know how is the low end performance of the bike?
A few things I liked about trigger:
1) The full digital console is cool, plus Its nicely integrated. (Hope there are no console thrashing/vibrations problems like in dazzy)
2) I think it has got one of the best looking chain covers
I liked its shape.. and looks potentially useful for dazzler owners who want full chain cover.
3) long exhaust (looks much cleaner)
rest from side views (lower portions ) still reminds me of good old dazzler
There is a slight variations in torque & power figures from dazzler (may be Honda found the optimum ones).(please correct me if I am wrong)
from official site( dazzler: 10.44KW (14bhp)& 1.3Kg-m(~12.8Nm): trigger: 10.3kw(14BHP) & 12.5 Nm).. almost negligible (trigger has 1 kg lighter kerb weight)
Apart from console, fairings, tail lights everything from rear view mirrors (shared with twister/dazzler) , handlebars, disk brakes and tires are same. (nice for dazzler owners)
PS: some how the tail light reminds me of discover 125ST, 100T

@shail016 The bike has no hidden surprises until now acceleration is linear at low end and performance is goodOriginally posted by rameshl View PostIts been a few days. Can you update us on how you like your ride now?
I have covered 200 KM now and bike has become more smooth the gear changes are softer and mileage is easily above 50 before first servicing. Until today I have never crossed 3500 RPM so unable to comment on top speed . @ 3000 RPM it glides @ 40kmph.
let me know if you have any particular questions

re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews
Is the bike really small? May I know your height and how the saddle height compares?
I am planning to buy this bike. I am 5 ft 9 but weigh around 95kgs. I do not want to look like an elephant riding a bicycle

I believe this bike share the same dimentions as the Honda Unicorn Dazzler. It will look small for sure.
Even i am built huge as you are. So Dazzler did not suit me.
Go ahead and get trigger if you are still ok with it or if you can put down some weight to suit the bike better.

re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews
Hi dude, thanks for your reply. I suspected that too when I saw a Dazzler in side stand - sometime back. I went to the showroom today and the height of Trigger surprised me a little. I was expecting to firmly plant both my feet either side of the saddle but I was able to plant only the toes. Not sure if Fat can shorten the lengthOriginally posted by BlackPanther View PostHi Ramesh,

Btw, is this posture advisable for a safe ride? Or it is better to have both fee firmly planted either side? Unfortunately, I could not test ride it today. Will do so over the weekend and update.

I'm 5'10 and the bike is comparable to pulsar 150 the tank is actually larger than that.Originally posted by rameshl View PostIs the bike really small? May I know your height and how the saddle height compares?

What do you mean by the absence of DC Electrical setup? Is it that the headlight only comes on when the engine is running? I assume that the electrical start, horn/brake light and indicators will work regardless. Isn't that usually the case with most bikes? Maybe ravikr9 can confirmOriginally posted by Naveen1985 View Postthe major disadvantage of this bike absence of DC electrical set-up....

Horn and Parking lights will work without the engine running but not the high beam and indicators......I think its good in a way the battery will not drain out if you forgot to switch off the high beam while taking out the keysOriginally posted by jaganm View PostWhat do you mean by the absence of DC Electrical setup? Naveen1985 I meant while bike is parked otherwise keep the engine running and the parking lights are good enough to find your way in dark when you need to just drag the bike
----consecutive posts auto-merged-----
blue_maniac the Fuel Efficiency before servicing is 55 KMPL this is before first servicing, I have done 467 KM on my trigger and kept it below 50kmph and 4000rpm
