I feel trigger is the best 150cc commuter..

Is this bike okay for looong runs??(hope now this dead thread becomes alive for a quick update lol)
"Best" This word depends on individual satisfaction.

Recently brought this bike for my family use.
Good comfortable bike with decent average and good handling.

Yep you can tour as well. But the power is a constraint for open roads.

I generally don't accept this bike as a Tourer, for tourer you need some good power/speed/comfort related bikes.

This one is a good commuter.

I got in 2hrs DLX here in Thane Suburbs.

Only one disappointment, it doesn't have a "KILL SWITCH" !!!!
      What Crap!!!!

Hunting for some fit for it.

Can anybody help me with which RH switch gear would be fit for TRIGGER ?? it should have a kill switch...

Saw this query on the Dazzler ownership thread as well. Have been following that thread for a long time and no body has done that kind of mod there. I think someone on the Unicorn ownership thread had done this mod, essentially splice the ignition wire, solder a secondary wire which connects to the chassis of the bike via a switch. The switch acts as a kill switch. But again that mod was a separate switch if I remember correctly, RH switchgear was left untouched.

I agree its coming with some positives as a commuter but there are some negatives as well (based on my test ride and my colleague's bike):

            1. It looks small and low(height wise) in comparison to other 150cc bikes.
            2. lacks kill switch.
            3. sitting position is very very commuterish. acc to me it should me a mix of sporty and comfy position like hunk, fz, sz-r, p150 etc...
            4. speedo meter looks small in real.
            5. spare part problem at honda service centers is a common problem.
            6. very low quality control switches.
            7. vibrates a bit around 4500-5000rpm mark which is strange as its honda engine.
            8. top speed is 107kmph on speedo (as per my experience) which is a bit on lesser side
            9. Design is not that innovative keeping fz series in mind. it looks very basic and simple, nothing out of the box. people are expecting a lot from honda.
            10. very tall and wide handlebar which looks generation old and gives it splendour and passion type riding position. even stunner and twister ride position feels better than this 150cc trigger.

NOTE: overall it is a good bike but I was expecting something substantial if not extra ordinary. ac to me honda has not done their homework well and they should have kept those points in mind.

A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith and use up a lot of fuel....

re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews

              Currently at 152 kms!!
Enjoyed the low end torque. Cruise nicely below 4000 rpm.
It easily goes to 50kmph when you are close to 4k rpms.

              Average figure will confirm later.

              Engine performance is awesome!!
              enjoy the smooth engine.

              Suspension is awesome as well.

The other disappointment after no "KILL SWITCH" is AC head light set up.

Ride comfortable, you can enjoy the sudden pickup and glide in city traffic.

              Good handling!!

I haven't got the Bike manual or service book, Will be getting it this saturday. hopefully!

re: Honda CB Trigger Ownership Experiences and Reviews

Yesterday rode my bike upto 112kms in whole day.
                Comfort is good.
But I din't like the tyre grip post 90kmph.
This may be due to I am coming from R15 family, somewhere I am expecting handling/ braking like R15. Which is not possible.

Engine is very smooth and gets heated in city.
Liked the low gears. no need to switch gears again and again.

                I am Happy till now!!
                currently over 250kms

Today Rode the bike upto 80kmph currently at 490kms.
handling wise it is charm under 60kmph. But As I am from R15 family I don't get inspired or confident on this bike over 80kmph.
Very light on turn and handling...good. But the tyre grip is not that great as it suppose to be. even this might be due to I am accustomed to soft compund earlier and now this tyre is very difficult to digest!!

Yes! You got used to R15, which is entirely a league above in handling and road grip.
