Hi pals, My bile is new and me too as a biker..
So, i have some queries in my mind. 1. My triggers engine got heated yesterday, when i went for a ride of 10 kms. Is it normal??
2. I didnt get the owners manual from showroom yet, and the passing of my bike is due.. so the mechanic of showroom has unplugged the meter console cable.
Because of that i am unable to see on what speed i am going on..
So, what are the ideal RPMs i should ride the bike?
3. Can i go on 5th gear??
Please clarify my quries..

I really dont understand why there is so much criticism of this bike.. You really DON'T get everything in ONE bike..

This bikes heart is trustworthy,
It has a new CBS system(optional ofcourse),
looks OK,

feels planted even on high speeds.

Even the guys who knows much more about biking have praised it for its worth..(read the link)..

is anyone experiencing a discomfort in seats

Neat mods. Nice that you didn't' go overboard.

Regarding engine kill switch, AFAIK it needs some connection to the BCU/ECU and it isn't a plug and play mod. You can get Duke's/FZ's handle bars as they'd look cool. But ensure that they don't affect the ergos a lot and that they're close to original fit.

I presume you're talking about the handle bars. Yes, if the handle bars tend to make the riding stance sporty, they'll cause wrist/back pain in > 20 km ride. You may have to get used to it over time.

You can add foam/gel seats for more comfort over long distances. Avoid too soft foam layers as they'd be useless.

can you specify gel seats....

First 50KM of my trigger

I was little skeptic about buying the bike without the test ride but when the reviews starting pouring in I bought my bike yesterday and cruzed around for 50KM it was a awesome experience.The bike has great handling and the engine is very smooth.

The following were the highlights of the bike:

Light weight

Great Handling

Smooth Engine

Firm Gear Change

Good Grip on road

Digital console is good

Early morning it started in one Kick

Pass Switch is a boon in night

Suspension was good the bike absorbed the highs and lows of the road when I was not on Tarmac.

The bike is still in Run-In period and I did not test for speed and acceleration

Yet to find any Cons but just for the sake of mentioning one or two:

Neutral was little tricky to find but then I'm yet to familiarize with my Honda

The availability of the accessories is something I now look forward to as my dealer has not provided me anything else apart from the number plates. Let me know if anyone else was lucky enough to get at-least a seat cover

has anyone upgraded your park light??

T10 type LED bulbs can be fit. They look good and put less strain on the battery.
