Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hi Friends,
Can any one please suggest a tyre combo or brands other than the stock tyres for my gixxer 155 2018 abs. I prefer stock tyre size as iam little sceptical of tyre size change as it might affect handling. My stock tyres are worn out both front and back. I think stock tyres are pretty bad in wet grip. I really feel nervous riding in occasional small patch of gravel on road due to rain. The stock back tyres are ecpecially bad, it really locks each time there is an emergency braking situation. I mostly use my bike in my daily work,an average of around 30 km is ridden daily in mixed condition in kerala. please share ur experiences too if u guys dont mind.

I think MRF Masseter is a good upgrade, check previous posts on reviews of mrf masseter.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
If you have a dremmel its very easy to grind, else id suggest get a file and try making the sides straight, then use a smaller spanner like 7mm to open, im guessing the current is 8.Originally posted by 5P4R70N View PostAnyone Else facing Bleeder Screw slippping? is there any other way to bleed front breaks ??

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Btw i did go to one svc for the axle nut which is around 80 rs. They gave the part but with labour lol so total rs 170.
One can only leave the bike in the svc, no parts of counter.Originally posted by Sudheeshssr View Postis that you who posted in Vandipranthan group, saw similar post about non availability for almost 6months.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hello friends, I have Gixxer 2015 naked version clocked around 30000KMS. I have strange sitiuation. Bike is running fine as of now (no power drop, no missing) and giving average of around 45kmpl. Sometimes rpm is not droping while down shifting gears or on turns. Service centre guys told me that they are not able to open rpm mixer as it is jammed. If they are able to open it then they can adjust it and problem can be sloved, followed by carburetor cleaning. Other option they are giving to change complete carburetor. I dont trust them completely here. I will check with some outside trusted mechanic.
"Basically mixer jammed or opening issue "
If anyone faced similar issue please share view/solutions.
Thanks.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
I am currently facing rough idling issue on my bike.
Plus the bike is hesitant on high rpms. Rest everything is great. I have clocked 15500km on my bike. I think the problem might be with vaccum leak on one of the hoses that connects air box to the carburetor or the carburetor to the engine itself.
Guys, if you have any idea about the same then please do share and help other having the same problem.
True biker fuses with the bike, when he rides. Just feel it.
Peace.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hello Friends, Today I have visited my trusted mechanic and he told me that he will fix the issue. He manages to open mixer and carburetor after that he cleaned everything properly and replaced mixer screw. Now bike is running like a charm. RPM is perfectly going up and down.Originally posted by probike View PostHello friends, I have Gixxer 2015 naked version clocked around 30000KMS. I have strange sitiuation.
