Anyone else notice the annoying clock running slow? Like you set the time today at 12 PM. By tomorrow 12 PM your clock will only display 11.59 AM. Overtime the gap gets bigger and bigger and eventually you need to reset your clock from time to time to make sure the variation is not significant.

And any recommendations for LED headlights? I understand the existing bulb is rated for 12 A 35 W and need a bulb in that spec or lower. My budget is Rs.1000.

Hi guys, I got something like this on the left grab rail. It's like a left over glue after removing the sticker. I didn't use any sticker, may be because of sun light? How can I remove this without scratching the metal? Suggestions please.

Questions for 2018 and 2019 owners:
              1) Difference between both versions apart from the looks and LED headlight. I can watch a few YouTube videos but I want to know if the difference is really that apparent in real world riding experience.
              2) Can it do 100-110 all day long on the highway? I know the engine would be stressed, but if I can do it on a rough and vibey RE, I think a Jap wouldn't mind much either.
              3) Point no.2, with pillion

                3. Go for gixxer 250, 155 will be stressed with pillion.

                  2. 2017 Gixxer SF FI user here. Have done 105-110 4-5 hours continuously.( I weigh 118 kgs and add some 5-10 kgs of luggage). Hitting the upper end of 118 was a little difficult. On downward slopes, did 123.
I am yet to do the all day long test. Will be doing it this April, May.

It's been great! I am not sure what all things should I include.

Just got my second service done day before yesteday, 21st Jan 2020.

                    Odometer reading is at 3800.

Riding comfort is good for rider, pillion comfort is below average. Rode solo till Mumbai from Pune and didn't have to stop for any break. As for pillion, even commuting with Pune, pillion's ass can start burning!

I was worried about SVC quality and so far, it's been a great experience. Mine is willing to go above and beyond.

As for the bike itself, only problem I was facing was with downshift, it was very hard and false neutrals were frequent in traffic. Just been two days since second service, and it's all gone.

If you are looking for a bike in this segment and pricing, I found Gixxer better than NS160, Hornet, Unicorn, Apache 160, FZS V3. It's a perfect mix of commuter and sports for me. This is my opinion, a lot of people tell me that R15 or MT15 would have been better but that's not what I was looking for. I needed something which could give me good average and won't hesitate in munching miles on highways. Bike exceeds my expectations here, average I get in city and rare highway ride is 50 KMPL, top speed I got was 107 KMPH.

                    10/10 would recommend!

I have been using Gixxer 155 for the past 2 years 3 months. You cannot do 100-110 on it all day long. The Engine will be stressed and one important thing that you have to consider is the Braking at that high speeds. Short Outbursts for quick overtake can be done on this 150cc bike but cruising on it all day is not at all recommended given the fact that number of surprises our roads throw at you. Agreed that RE is rough and vibey at high speeds but you will be more less tired on it because of comfortable upright sitting position and better seat. Though Gixxer is Japanese you will have buzz on the foot pegs and handle bars at higher rpms.I suggest you better look at Gixxer 250 and make a decision.
The Pillion comfort will not be there at all for long distance and the pillion seat will be even tiresome with the split seat and higher sitting position.

Exactly, gixxer 250 will a much better option, thanks to 6th gear and more performance [emoji106] [emoji108]

Bought a H4 LED on banggood, costed me Rs.851.00 for a pair (including shipping + insurance).
                              Brand: Digoo

Low beam seems very good when compared to the stock bulb but Hi-beam isn't. will post some pics of the light spread in the mean time
