Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
Hello fellow xbhpians,
I am facing a problem with my dual disc 2017 Gixxer (ran 10k kms). My bike stood still for 5 months due to lockdown as I was in another city.
I started and it ran fine afterwards. I had to shift to another city. So I have given it to transporter.
After getting back the bike.. I have observed suddenly both the brakes have lost their bite. It was worse than a drum brake bike. If I jam front brake it is giving hard noise near at max position. The braking is pathetic.
There is no such noise in the back brake but the bite is lost.. what could be an issue.. please help. I live in a town which is 60kms from Suzuki service centre.. I can visit once to diagnose the problem but cannot do it repeatedly due to covid situation.. please suggest what could be problem.

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
BS6 Gixxer is good and refined. Biggest drawback is absolutely lack of pillion comfort. This is often ignored in reviews but is very important in real life scenario. If you are planning to get married within 3-4 years. stay away from it. Apache 160 is a better bet than xblade.Originally posted by ashithbabu View PostBros...how is the new gixxer bs6..i am planning to buy it. Also in my list are xblade and Apache 160. My preferences are engine refinement and quality

Re: Suzuki Gixxer 155
3 year old bike probably would be needing new brake oil. For now try to bleed the air out of the system. Pump the lever 5 6 times to build pressure keep it press and open the bleeder valve by quarter of turn then close the valve and let the lever go. Repeat if needed , this is usually done with reservoir cap lose but doing like what i have mentioned would help release the trapped air. Do this for both brakes.Originally posted by thousifkhan24 View PostHello fellow xbhpians,

And try to get brake oil replaced if there is not much improvement.
