Thanks Gourab for that clarification! Even I wanted to tell the bunk guy to hold the nozzle and not rest but I doubt if he would have obliged. Anyways, if the bend does not hamper the functioning, I'll let it be while being extra careful to not aggravate the situation in future.

Congrates buddy enjoy your ride you will get used to riding position after sometime. i had faced same problem with R15 initially.

I was very tempted to buy RC390, when upgrading from R15 but due to required ride quality & comfort level I had to go for other bike.

But if you can manage the ride quality/comfort level given by RC 390, then it is one of the best bikes available in India.

a little OT.
ksameer - mate any chance you live in bhilai (or durg) ? it seems to me that you do, because you said your home is about 50kms from KTM raipur and there's a 40 kms of highway on the way...sounds like somewhere in bhilai/durg ...

congrats on the RC390. probably the first owner in india of this bike :P

nice. tons of nice corners (that remain usually empty) around bhilai/durg dude, particularly on the far western side..enjoy the bike in those parts :-D.

Yeah! The traffic is generally lean here. And myself being a not-so-adventurous type, cornering feels absolutely amazing. There are some good city roads and I did lean a bit into them (only a little considering the vehicular movement). It feels like bike is doing everything and I just have to follow the cues. Of course, I am not comparing with any other bike but this is good!!

Hi Sameer! Congrats on the acquisition!

Don't know if you posted on this, I didn't find any mention on the RVMs. Are they good/bad/useless? I mean in terms of visibility while riding.

Thanks!! I did make a brief mention on the RVMs. Honestly, they are a pure Hit and Miss. Me being short (5'4") found the right one perfect while the left one shows only the clouds. On the other hand, my brother (6') found both useless with right one showing tarmac and left one showing skies. I'll try and work out some jugaad and get the left one work for as a little manual flex corrects it but it again goes back to original.

And the vibrations are kept under control. Below 3000 rpm, everything vibrates and so do mirrors but post that, mirrors are nice and very much useable.
