However stupid as it may sound, I don't have the user manual with me yet. Since I was in a hurry for delivery and payments were not settled, I did not get all the documents. I will get the same may be post diwali since showroom is a bit far away. I'll read and update.

So true. Ignorance and disdain has indeed spoilt me. I realise there are several good habits I need to pick up.

Re: KTM RC 390 Ownership Experience

Today I rode my rc390 60 km in delhi traffic from dwarka to greater noida and I touched 145 without hitting the limiter(7500 rpm before first service) in 6th gear.
Average speed = 67 kmph and mileage as shown on odo = 28 kmpl.

Power delivery starts after 4000 rpm.

More pics coming soon

I am thinking maybe that metal part acts like an earth for the petrol tank ?!

Even I had the same metal part in my tank but had no problem filling my rc 390.

ideally it shouldn't be a problem, but some nozzles might be larger and also the problem is with them resting the nozzle inside the tank which might cause it to bend over time.

Riding in city is good on good roads..RVM are not good.. I am 5'8" and I am not able to see the near sides but far sides are visible.will get small mirrors to fix on RVMs. I felt a lot of vibrations on handle bar and footpegs. gearbox is not very smooth.these issues will sort out after 1 st service I think.

ksameer - Congrats for your Blade! and thanks a lot for sharing your experience, I am also getting my RC 390 next month. Quick question to you -

1. Have you test ridden RC 200? If so, how do you rate RC 200 as compared to RC 390 for city commute?
2. You have mentioned about vibration on handle bar and footpegs. Is it on low rpm/ at idle mode? Or even at higher rpm?
3. Do share info about milage
4. And share some cool pics of your Blade pls!

1. I haven't ridden rc200.
2.mostly it is on low rpm.. Vibrations are absent at idle.

3. I got 28 kmpl today in delhi according to odo..rode 60 km mostly in moderate and low traffic.
I can give tank to tank calculations.. Next time my bike shows low fuel warning.

I initially took test ride of RC390 and booked RC200, but later i thought i should go with Duke 200 as I found RC390 little heavy and difficult to drive in traffic. I am short 5.4

When i went back RC200 was on test ride when i took test ride of 200 i felt much better and light. the all black looks awsome on RC's

I also found 200 little more nimble than RC390 may be due to weight of bike and my height
