Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
Welcome to the quirky world of KTMs. I have close to 40k on my duke 200 and till date face issues while from shifting to neutral from up. Overtime this will improve, not because the gear box decides to behave but because you would learn to have a defter footOriginally posted by jRay View Post

Haha, i first faced this issue when i test rode the Duke 200, but i ignored it thinking it might be faulty. then i got my rc and it was the same thing but now it is easy to shift to neutral from 2nd, but not yet from 1st. Time to train my left foot LOLNever ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
yes, I agree the placement of neutral between 1st and 2nd gear is kinda frustrating especially if you are in a hurry and want the neutral to fall on, it'll just won't happen..
but normally it's fine, when I'm in 2nd, it'll mostly fall into 1st and a light tap up, it falls into the neutral, so, unless you are in a hurry & are using more force/pressure, it'll be fine.. it's one beautiful bike.. I seriously wish KTM/Bajaj would have a bigger tank capacity.. the distance between the tank cover & the actual tank is a couple of inches, not to mention the FI that sits inside the tank taking up a good space, wish they would have made the tank bigger..

Re: KTM RC 200 Owners Experience Thread
The right turn indicator is not working today, might be a problem with the switch as left works and pushing the switch to the right doesn't do anything ( doesn't even light up the led on the consple) will visit a bajaj svc near my college as ktm svc is far from my home. Anything i could do before visiting the svc to make it work?Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

Below is the link, you need to whatsapp him and transfer the money, he will send it across genuine dealer, dealing with him from last 1 year.

check for any fuse blown, I doubt that's an issue, but maybe one of your indicator has gone kaput.. most probably the rear, but like he says, take her to a ktm showroom instead of bajaj..Originally posted by jRay View PostThe right turn indicator is not working today, might be a problem with the switch as left works and pushing the switch to the right doesn't do anything ( doesn't even light up the led on the consple) will visit a bajaj svc near my college as ktm svc is far from my home. I dont think any indicator has gone kaput, as the turn signal indicator doesnt light up when i signal right but it does when i signal left. So i think a the wiring is at fault here. Anyways ill take her to the KTM svc now.
also i've been using proklear raw extreme CX for about 3 weeks now and it is awesome, so easy to wash and shine is like she just got out of the showroom, the first 500ml solution lasted me 4 washes, I wash her twice every week and that brings the effective cost around Rs. 2.5 per wash!Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly.

it could be the indicator that's kaput or maybe the tiny wires that go into it are at fault. otherwise the indicator switch.Originally posted by jRay View PostI dont think any indicator has gone kaput, as the turn signal indicator doesnt light up when i signal right but it does when i signal left. by 500ml solution, you mean adding 5ml of the concentrate to 500ml of water right ?! for a second i was shocked thinking you used the concentrate directly, until i read the last line explaining the economics !
I have been using the basic proklear for a while now and totally happy with it, and i even recommended it here a few weeks ago. It does save a ton of water and easy to use.
btw, how is this CX stuff on the matt parts (like the console, rear mudguard) ? does it leave any white residue on these unpainted plastics ? and i hope you aren't using it on the brake discs!

I'll pick that proklear thing soon then.. I hope I can get rid of the mud and dirt & oil stuck on the exposed insides & the shocks etc.. the underbelly pan is extremely dirty to be frank..Originally posted by s1d View Postit could be the indicator that's kaput or maybe the tiny wires that go into it are at fault. otherwise the indicator switch.
