Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences

Hello fellow riders, have anyone faced heavy vibrations on handlebars and footpegs that you could not ride more than 20 mins continuously.
Mine was completed 18k kms and it's about 16 months old, around 9.5k kms there was tappet noise issue and it was cleared after hours of arguments with SVC(khivraj, Anna salai) and they agreed to work on it, that time was facing vibrations and I was able to manage that, after the valve clearance the bike was brand new in performance wise and engine refinement. I was so high about the bike and rode it like a maniac, with motul 7100 it was a beast on highways. Felt awesome about hamara bajaj.
But the happiness doesn't last long and the vibes started to creep in around 14k kms, I was returning to Chennai (430 kms) and all of a sudden it started vibrating when reaching home, went to SVC and asked them about the vibes and they didn't accept that it was due to valve clearance, left the bike for paid service and asked to do valve clearance, while taking delivery they didn't mentioned in the worksheet, irritated and ask them about it, they asked me to come back another day, due to work I was unable to find another day and lived with vibes.
At 17.5k was planning on a trip to hometown, gave the bike to valve adjustment at Jai Bajaj, they done it and now it vibes more on handlebars that I was on agony throughout my ride to hometown. I m not sure the SVC guy cleared the valves as per manual but the tappet noise was gone and the refinement is back, but the vibrations are more than ever, they even tightened the engine frame and adjusted the cone set of handlebar, now where should I find a way to reduce the vibration, it's just constant on all RPM all-over the bike not just handlebar and footpegs,
If any Chennai guys here could guide me to a good NS/AS mechanic in Chennai would be helpful.

I just want to know whether my riding makes the engine loose its valves, will shift at RPM 4k for 1,2,3 and 7k for 4,5,6, will do constant 115+ on highways and occasionally 130+ for 10-15 minutes.

Advices are much appreciated coz I m at pain on hand and heart.

As per the below link the valves should be adjusted every 5k kms due to the SOHC setup.

Front disk will cost between 1000rs to 1200 rs based on the SVC.
I also had to change the front disk after a bad fall. Three SVC told me three different prices.

I would say change your SVC. Go to a different one may be they would help.

If you live in bangalore then you could go the KTM Kawasaki bajaj svc at monotype banshankari. A guy named amjad he is really good.

2: morning ride is fine but after i run 10 to 15 km the bike starts to loose little bit power and power returns back after 7k rpm . Svc cleaned my carb it helped for sometime but now again there is problem. I always insist svc mech to chek tappet but they always ignore and say its ok

Kindly help me understand the front fork stabilizers, its importance and how it works and where can I buy them if they worth it.
I am using 5100 too but I am gonna try Repsol in the coming days. Keep sharing your inputs brother.
    Ride Safe !
Fork stabilizers are a waste of money on our bikes. It is useful only on long narrow forks of true off roaders.
