re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences

I checked out the bikes and GT is really breathtaking. The pictures don't do the least justice to its size...it's like riding a fortress on wheels!
The 'i' has a more pronounced exhaust, but both are sweet sounding machines in their own right.
    Can't wait to ride them.

I went twice to Bangalore benelli and the sales guy response was good , took tnt600i for spin on 4pm heavy traffic .
Overall it was a nice experience . Weight seems to be balanced . Engine heat was normal as it is supposed to be but clutch gave me wrist pain .

this is the only ownership thread I found on Internet . I have planned to buy white color .

just waiting for more reviews from owners .

I request deepak to give some more idea about the bike

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers Reviews & Experiences

Went to Benelli Showroom y'day in Pune, and test rode the 600i there. The bike is apparantely 200+ kgs but does not feel like it at all. After test riding it, my D200 clutch felt almost disconnected from the engine. The clutch on the 600i is so damn hard and so are the hand grips, my wrist started paining immediately after the 5 minute test ride. The Instrument cluster looked like it came from a Hero Splendour; the controls felt made from cheap plastic.
But you can forget all these things when you start the engine which sounds so sweeeet, first time rode an inline-4 engine. No vibes at all, even at 8,000 RPM.!!

Yesterday i too went for the test ride of the 600, it had the IXIL on it. Man it sounded like something i never heard before! The way it accelerates and it sounds is just indescribable. At first point the plastics felt flimsy but when it started...i forgot everything, i asked the sales person why the clutch was heavy. He said we have lightened it as much as possible and we couldn't go further. So after i rode it, it was actually pretty light when compared to the actual heavy clutch. Did make me feel happy. I might buy it but im thinking of the service, i wouldn't like to regret after buying. So ill give a little break to myself and follow this post. And guys do post the service experience(how knowledgeable they are and all..). Can anyone tell me specifically how much is the service interval in months(6 months or an year)? I was told that the service interval is 4 months, isnt it too short? I am not certain as to what they'll change within the 4 month schedule.

Yes I did. But damn if the same engine configuration was in the TNT 899 body, with that price tag, I would be talking to a finance sales rep right now.

I should kick myself for not even seeing it here in Chennai, but did manage to see a video made by Powerdrift with the IXIL exhaust installed on a 600i, oh mama....i was on my knees begging my dad to let me buy one...

lol I was at benelli ahmedabad yesterday. When that guy turned on the 600i with the ixil within the showroom. I could smell petrol from a dozen feet away. The bike runs super rich at first. which im surprised even tho they have four O2 sensors :P but yeah the sound rumbles your ribcage.

The maximum designed speed is quoted at 185km/h, I thought this would cross the 2 Ton mark...
