Sad to see no TNT 899 or TNT 1130 yet, as they were touted to be best sellers and benelli got all wrong specially for 899. But fantastic pics. Splly Benelli, Ninja and Bonnie....

The last time i went for a test ride in Bangalore the showroom guy said the bike has been dropped and people have crashed quite a few times, they even showed the scratches. What we noticed is the bike seems to be drop friendly and seems to be quite well built and can take good abuse.

Last Saturday when I visited Benelli Bangalore Showroom, there was no 600i for test ride; instead a red demo bike from Hyderabad with IXIL was brought for short time. Upon asking the sales guy, he informed that the test bike met with and accident and it's a total loss. The rider is fine. I'm impressed by the GT ride quality although was sceptical about the 243kilo curb weight. After riding it in heavy traffic in 3rd gear throughout I was very impressed. The lack of ABS is negated by the linear acceleration which is enough in my opinion. But being a past Hysosung GT650n owner the horrible DSK service and insane spare parts cost made me cautious. I guess I'll play the wait game for an year. Waiting for the 600GT thread but none in xbhp till now . The price have been increased from last Saturday and it feels little over priced now considering the exorbitant KA road tax. Moreover the sales guy told the handling charges included in the RTO+Reg charges is high as the selling volume is less for now although they re not giving the break up. Hyosung made customers pay 10K rupees as handling charges and a fake RTO receipt for most of the customers which they have had returned back after huge protest from customers here in Bangalore. Here is the new price list:

Yup..the price rise has come due to the taxes levied and the reason being they were not levied upon was due to the launch. Now that they have establised a base well enought, the charges are being revised now.

called the showroom manager in Chennai and the current OTR price stands at 612800. An increase of 12k, which I guess is much lesser to what Bangalore has to pay.

last thing I need is a confusion. Now the Color, I had decided upon WHite with Red Trestle, But wondering should I go for Black with Red Trestle ? Which one do you think will look good.

Could you explain in detail about how linear acceleration negates the need for ABS ? Really want to know since you are seasoned big machine rider

Oh No Test ride now and the price has gone up. I can understand the rise in price. But I will never purchase a bike without a test ride. I am happy with my duke 390 I hope they will provide test rides in future say after 6 months or else they might be loosing a potential customer.
