Guys, just my 2 cents !!

Invest on some good frame sliders, don't go with stuff on aliexpress for every item. They might look drool worthy because of pricing and might look good too but may not solve the purpose of protecting the bike in case of fall.

Just show off stuff shouldn't matter but not things which are meant for protection.

thats absolutely true.. i myself never settle down for cheap stuff when it comes to protection. but i've had a hard time finding good sliders for this model.. hence thought of getting atleast something meanwhile and upgrade to better ones once they are available here. still looking for options.

DSK has yet again succeeded in maintaining their super crappy services, and that too before even the product delivery.
Today is the third time that I am informed that I'm not going to get the bike even on the third promised date which was initially 20th-21st, then 28th, and then 8th July.
Despite of being among the first 4 buyer from Delhi, they still havent managed to get a Red Bike. Committing for a date and again failing to deliver. I am now in huge doubt if I have made the right decision going with dsk. I cant even decide on this bcz the bike itself is brilliant, but too sad that the fate of Benelli is in SUPER SCREWED DSK Hands in India now. I am highly disappointed by this now, and I have no clear information of when am I going to actually get my bike in hand.

If anyone has any information about higher officials of DSK, please share.

I congratulate the lucky ones who've got theirs in time.
        Hey Sanket,

Sorry to hear that bro. But personally speaking, I think we should give DSK Benelli sometime to settle down in India. I have been keeping track of news and where the company is reaching with its goals in such a short span. To be honest, i think even they didn't anticipate the kind of overwhelming response they would receive after the bikes were launched. The other day I was on a group ride and two of my friends from our group work for Triumph and Kawasaki, and as per what they said, DSK Benelli's entry into India have really hampered the market for Triumph and Kawasaki. The competitive pricing and quality of products is soooo good.
I think the company is gearing up to take on such a huge response from India and probably are trying to match up to the demands, this huge demand as per my understanding, does lead to shortage of stock considering that they are all CKD. I think we all should be patient and wait for the beasts to come home. Like they say good things do happen to people, but you need to be patient, and I bet you wont regret the wait, cause i too had to wait for sometime, but trust me every time i swing a leg over my beast, and wring the throttle, it puts a big smile on my face that's hard to wipe off .

well you are right and i do agree on the same.. but my issue was not with the delay, it was about false committment. These people knew that the bikes arent ready, specially red ones. still the sales guy promised the delivery. Now in a company that big, i dont think there could be a possibility that they themselves arent aware of which bikes are getting ready and when is the consignment leaving. afterall thats their main business. so its just the smooth talks to convince the buyer and lock the money. If they had told me on the first day that there will be a waiting period of 45 days I'd have kept patience easily. I waited for my duke for 4 months so I have been there.
but anyways, I or anyone else dont have any option but to wait afterall we are at their disposal always after paying the money over jist talks. Its just the usual way it goes in India for anything anyway.
          waiting continues...

btw, if anyone comes across branded sliders for 600i please share here. I still havent ordered the aliexpress stuff.

I am with you on this one. No one is against waiting a given amount of time, however long it might be. What we hate, and these sales executives of any brands should understand, is false commitments and information. False promises starts from the tailors to the house/apartments sellers. And this is not just with Benelli but everywhere. I heard issues with every delivery, except mine, of Z800s that happened around the time I got mine in, Bangalore. I had to move the top management to get things done as I wanted to. While most people do not have the time and patience to do so, the sales executives meanwhile keep flowing smooth talks like water through sewer pipes and keep bothering the customers continuously. We don't have an option here. Do we ?
As you say, false promises means they have locked a huge sum of money from your coffer. You could have earned a healthy amount of interest in the same time.

Well, we can rant but things will not change and that is down to the archaic laws of the land that we still follow. It is frustrating. But one fine day when the phone rings and you get called to pick your red beast and get it back home, you will forget most of the mishaps that happened preceding that. Though, you will always have a fear in you of dealing with the service center or the dealership once again. At least that is what I have. Love every bit of time on the saddle. And shudder as much at the thought of paying a visit to the sales or service for any reason !!!

As Brutus had said in Julius Caesar,

"Between the acting of a dreadful thing
And the first motion, all the interim is
            Like a phantasma "

Just that this is a not a dreadful but a wonderful thing !

Nice lines there mate !! helped in soothing the waiting period pain a bit thanks

btw, I called up jv promoto, apart from it was extremely hard to understand what the guy was saying, I just got the information that they dont have the sliders for 600i at this moment, nor they know by when they'll be able to arrange the same .
So, in the meanwhile, it'll be good to order atleast something to hold there.. and by the reviews, seems like a LOT of people in Europe and asia order these products from ali and have quite positive feedback. Despite of cheap these product still hold upto decent quality, its just that they are not some super brand.

btw, I found this engine cowl interesting, might have to compromize with the clearance a bit, but still it wont hurt on bumpers.
Modified parts Engine decoration cover kit for Benelli BN600 TNT600 Stels600 Keeway RK6-in Stickers from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

I'm also planning to order Rizoma mirrors .. stock mirrors dont go much with the bike for me.

Also, I guess there have been two 600i deliveries made in Delhi yesterday, and 1 Gt too. Anyone from here ?!?

                Good it helped you

Right. When you see the reviews they are purchase reviews and not crash reviews. They will feel solid too. They will, perhaps, bike from a standing fall too but what they won't do effectively is handle slides at speeds. Why ? Because when they manufacture these, they look at cost cutting and go with casting instead of forging and that makes things very different at the end. The sole work of the sliders if to slide and bend gradually without breaking off. I am afraid these might break off and cause havoc. Even worse, not break, catch and topple the bike. But yes, if nothing else is available, something is better than nothing. Maybe you could ask promoto that there are multiple looking to buy these. Also, since you are open to get things from foreign lands, why not order from Dimotiv directly, they ship to India from Taiwan, as far as I can recall, so you don't have to depend on J V Promoto. Their mail id is [email protected] and they had told me that they would not charge for shipping if total order was above $300. They had asked $22 for a $65 product that I was looking for.Another route you could take is to ask SBKSTORE.IN or BIKEGEAR.IN to get them in for you. You could initiate a chat regarding this on their website.

Mirros on nakeds are useless, what i have seen till now. I guess you are looking at improving the looks so good choice there.
