They said there was a miscommunication, and the usual time is 40-45 days, which I am already aware of, but despite of that the dealership committed a delivery day within 20 days. They apologized and requested to have some more patience, to which ofcourse we have no other option left.
Now the new "confirmed" date is by 8th July. God knows what happens next. Waiting.

Although they are offering me white bike on 28th, which is not a bad option at all as I quite liked the white also, even my duke was white.
I do love the red frame and spring on the white bike, but I'm still not convinced to go for it. Just thinking about this whole situation.

Opinions welcome.

BTW, found yet another option for the visor.

Modified wind shield screen, speedometer cover with benelli sticker label for benelli 600, bj600gs, bn600,RK 6 600i,TNT 600-in Tilts & Protective Sheets from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group
1. My 2cents on color choice , I always wanted to buy RED but after seeing it in real I did not find it exquisite or exotic as the trellis and springs are black which clouds the detailing or the characteristic . During my bike delivery a person came for a showroom visit and he had booked RED but after seeing my vehicle he changed his mind and opted for WHITE , I would have bought red if trellis was silver and springs were yellow/red ( this is my personal opinion and not to hurt RED owners )

2. About the delay , sales person always told me waiting is 40-45days BUT (BUT***) he will try to deliver the same within 20-25days , finally it was delivered on 32nd day .

3. To fix this ALIEXPRESS visor you need to drill 4 holes on existing company stock visor , I have already negotiated with him and he is ready to give it for 23$ inclusive of shipping .

DSK has yet again succeeded in maintaining their super crappy services, and that too before even the product delivery.
Today is the third time that I am informed that I'm not going to get the bike even on the third promised date which was initially 20th-21st, then 28th, and then 8th July.
Despite of being among the first 4 buyer from Delhi, they still havent managed to get a Red Bike. Committing for a date and again failing to deliver. I am now in huge doubt if I have made the right decision going with dsk. I cant even decide on this bcz the bike itself is brilliant, but too sad that the fate of Benelli is in SUPER SCREWED DSK Hands in India now. I am highly disappointed by this now, and I have no clear information of when am I going to actually get my bike in hand.

If anyone has any information about higher officials of DSK, please share.

I congratulate the lucky ones who've got theirs in time.
i think, often the problem is that manufacturers/sellers often in india make commitments without calculations. They over commit just to get the sale and then twice or thrice delay the commitment. . . makes buyers loose confidence in them and there by be frustrated.. . when asked the seller, they say we have to over commit because the buyer wants things quick and is impatient. . . so its a paradox . . I in my business face similar problems :/

so now i'v stopped expecting shit to be on time.

ther's a saying, In india everybody is in a hurry but nobody reaches on time lol :P either way , relax dude, sit back and dream a little more about your upcoming joy rides.
Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.

Ride safe, Ride long.

If you are planning to order any more accessories, let us order in Bulk. Will reduce the shipping cost or you can get a better deal. I want frame sliders and fork protectors.

Yes I totally agree with you on the color part. Infact I tried to ask them if there is any way possible to get the red trellis and spring on the red bike as they receive the bike in kit and they might be ok with this swap. But they denied for obvious reasons. The red would have looked the best with red frame and spring.
I have one more concern about the White color PALING DOWN after a year may be.. that mostly happens with all the white vehicles.

About the visor, I think thats the best looking visor out of all the options I have seen on aliexpress so far. When are you planning to order, is it possible to order in bulk ? I'd love to get one too. Also have you purchased the frame and fork sliders ? would be nice to get a good deal in bulk if you like to club. Thanks.

Yea you are right, we cant expect shit to ever be on time in this constipated Indian market.

If you're ordering from outside the country, avoid ordering in bulk. Because when the amount increases rs 5-7K+ in one order one may end up paying customs. Best is split the order in smaller amounts.

Also, there are clauses that my insurance agent (who is a friend as well) educated me about, by which I could transfer my no claim bonus of the existing insurance to the new one. This saved quite a bit for me. I had some discounts which were applied too and I finally ended up paying 9.5k.

The other owners who have bought it outside, have paid (as far as I can remember correct) around 16k or 15k.

Hi Benellians and all the Biker's..... Finally I am glad to be a part of the fraternity after stalking this thread for a while, can't thank you all enough for sharing some valuable information that I was looking for from an owner's point of view and special thanks to Sanket for answering my call and assuring about the registration process usually completing in a day or 2 and here I am This is probably the only owner's review thread I could find online shedding light on the legendary brand introduced in India.

I too am going through the intense pain of waiting for my Red beast 600i to be delivered which was booked on this 21st, and I am here seeking guidance w.r.t the Insurance.

Aravind - request you to please post additional information, like name of the insurance company that cover's your beast or contact number of your insurance agent (friend) or kindly PM your contact number as I need to take a call on this by Friday and I would really appreciate your assistance bro

roland, There is a person Rithesh Ved who owns Zeus Motorcycle Gear. He has spares for 600i. I do not stand by for any quality or delivery as I have not purchased anything yet. He is on Facebook and if you are on fb too, you could search for him.

He sells frame-sliders and windscreens for the 600i. I do not know if there has to be holes drilled, but you can check it out.

So lovely to see so many Benellis rolling out or about to be rolled out The sweet sounding beasts are in plenty now ! Saw quite a few on my last weekend ride as well.
I really hope this turns out to be 'THE' machine that turns India's big bike market for the good and people on the road are more used to seeing these monsters on two wheels roaming around the road. Good for everyone.

Congratulations to everyone one, including DSK and Benelli !
