Yes it happened with me as well. To
keep the exhaust cover safe from scratches, you keep a towel or a thick cloth on the rear seat which is big enough to cover the exhausts (sideways)
as well, and then place the rynox saddle bags.

Thank you , that worked well...! !!

Guys, I need some help. My headlight switch has gone kaput about 4/5 weeks back. There is no sign of the spare anywhere in the near future. Right now I am driving the bike at night with a rubber band on the pass switch. I have got the service center to rewire it to low beam as its better and in any case I dont drive too fast or far at night. If any of you guys at , Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai or Delhi can check with the service center if they have a spare, then I can let my Cochin guy know.

In any case I am planning to put a pair of Aux. I am a bit apprehensive that the warranty will be void if I put it on. But the service manager has assured me that as long as they dont cut any wire its ok...

My bike is only 6 months old.....any of you guys have put in AUx..would be nice if someone posts a pic on how it is mounted.

          Hi,

If anyone has mounted Aux lights can you put up some pics..I would like to see how its mounted....I already have a phone mount in the handle , so putting the lights on the handle bar might not look good and might interfere when i put the phone.

            Guys,

Some positive news....I have been waiting for my headlight switch for the past three months....today I noticed a number in the Benelli site (088863 55004) and gave a call..a lady answered and was very customer friendly informed that DSK is not associated and Mahavir is taking care ( atleast it sounded Mahavir ! ). She said parts are beind despatched, took my mobile number and reg number. She said that she will send a mail to the Kochi service center and they will call you back..... ! ! !

I hope things are moving now.

            Update.....

I send a sms to my Kochi service manager regarding the converstion, and he immediately called back ( by the way this guy Saju is one of the best customer friendly manager I have come across ! ). He told me he was waiting to call me once the part has reached, it HAS been despatched and will come on Wednesday.....My day has been made....So it seems everything is sorted out

No action here for months.....I am planning to put aux lights in my bike....I have a local dealer who has Mad Dog 30 w LEDs at the going rate of Rs. 4750 per light. It only comes with mounts. No wiring harness. I also have an option of getting the 2 Goldrunway 30 w at CNY 917 ( app Rs. 9700). But this comes with the wiring harness and switch. The only issue is if something goes wrong i cant claim warranty in the goldrunway.

How reliable is goldrunway? Anyone using these here?

                        Hello,
I just bought 40w gold runway light for 600i, not install ed yet but the build quality is super good. Ofcourse we can't claim warranty if something goes wrong because it comes from AliExpress China. But I am always assured that nothing will go wrong due to the brand quality. And fyi, my total cost was 14k but I had to shell out extra 4k to customs as they were not releasing it.

Ok.. I am actually getting it through one of my friend who is working in China... He is coming in November to India... I opted for the 30 W round ones... Once you mount it put some pics.. I already have a Bolt charger and a X grip on the handle... I need to somehow find space to mount this under or parallel to headlight

How often do I need to clean the chain? I have been doing it between 750 km to 1000 km interval. I have been using the Motul C1 cleaner and Tribocor TC 40 chain lube.

Once this is over I am planning to use Kerosene ( as recommended in Rezvilla video) to clean chain. And plannning to switch to Liqui Moly lube, though its triple the cost of TC 40.

Cleaning chain is as per the requirement friend..places like Bangalore is pretty bad during monsoon season. Whenever you see tar on the chain, whenever you notice your bike is rough, whenever you see a stiffness in gear shifting, it's the time for a clean and lube..
