Dear seniors can you suggest whether I should buy the riding gear from benelli or I could get a better version outside? if outside, based on your experience can you recommend a good helmet and jacket and gloves. For Over all budget is 15k.
Dont buy a riding gear from benelli they are made by rynox .
If you want to buy gears than buy any good quality gears
Good quality MT helmet or any DOT cert or ECE cert helmet
Do check out smk helmet also as they come with antifog pin lock which ll be very useful for u in this coming winters .
Riding jacket - bb aspida cramster
    Riding pants - same
    Riding shoes -
Riding gloves - xdi or cramster
If not buying riding pants than knee guards are complustory .

I recently did a spares and service comparo study with 600i vs z800 vs street triple and while the service cost and value for money was in favor of 600i the service intervals are too less

Also not sure of Benelli will update the 600i model compared to competitors like z900 and the new street 765?
    This is BIG question mark?
I dont completely agree with you bro , the service what benelli provides you is best in the class the attitude of kawasaki ppl are the worse nor do they have parts available with them .
And the most important is the price in which benelli is sold no other inline 4 is sold in india with that this is the best bike for upgrade from 200cc regular bikes like pulsur and any other.

        Hi all
Done around 10k kms on my benelli 600i in 10months .
The bike has not given me single problem till now except the water pump and that too it was changed under warranty without any questions .
The beast has given me every reason to smile when ever i ride .
Have always used dry chain lube for my bike chain and it has given me ultimate performance .
Motul and 3m chain lube are useless the fling off on high speed and the chain is left with minimal oil or no oil in chain . It also drips a lot which is pain to clean .
Anyways many more kms to cover soon ..
Do meet up if anyone from pune is here .

I have to agree with those 2 points in bold as I have also started using dry lube now from my previous 3M and as you have mentioned its a pain to clean and also the way the lube gets flinged around is worse, plus the advantage of having a longer lubing interval with the dry lube is always helpful and also I noticed one big change is that the dry lube does not attract dirt at all, after lubing, I had taken it for a 300 km ride and after the ride, the chain looked as it was when I had cleaned and lubed it in the first instance. By the way, I am using Muc-Off Dry chain lube, which I have seen is very hard to find in almost all online websites and local stores, which one are you using?

Can you provide some more information on where you got this information that Rynox manufactures gear for Benelli? It would really come in handy, and help fellow people in sourcing gear requirements.

It's easy enough to check. If a decent riding gear manufacturer makes gear for a motorcycle brand, then you will find the label inside. On the outside it will only show the motorcycle brand, but inside it will always have the gear manufacturers name.

UM's riding jackets are made by Rynox and helmets from Studds.

Anybody who has bought Benelli riding gear and check it out.

Thank you, Avinash. But I reckon not all gear manufacturers put their tag in the jackets. Say for example, Triumph, Kawasaki, all their gears have their own name as opposed to their manufacturer. What I wanted to know was whether did Rynox, provide their tag even in Benelli branded merchandise or not.

                      Cheers!

hi folks. I was also in a huge confusion whether to purchase a Benelli 600 i or not. My mind was stuck in the Kawasaki ninja 650 but i finally made up my mind that the benelli is what i am looking for. Although i have still not purchased the bike due to a few financial constraints but my mind is fixed on the benelli 600i. what made me decide....

                        1. test drove the ninja 650 and benelli 600 i back to back on the same day. First i drove the ninja 650. The bike is very easy to sit as the ride height is very perfect for the average indian height. as i started the ride the engine felt so very un-superbike like... (no rev bombs can be done) but the moment i gave it a bit of throttle the bike surged ahead with a lot of gusto. It was a entertaining bike and the maneuverability was also good. the bike felt like a grown up KTM 390. I drove the ninja 650 for a extended period as i was very much inclined towards it.

                        2. immediately headed to the benelli 600 i and started the test ride. The first setback was the test ride bike was dripping fuel all over the engine. I got scared but learnt that the benelli has this problem on all 600 i. Then the thoughts vanished away the moment i started the bike... wow.. the 4 cylinders were firing so beautifully. The bike is slow to respond to the throttle inputs but it was not bad. Then the bike felt heavy and later realised it indeed is a heavy bike. But now everyone was looking at me and wondering what bike i was driving... i was drawing attention unlike the ninja 650. Got a small stretch of open road and gave a bit of throttle and was just mesmerized with the sound.

after the test rides i analysed what i was looking for and i got that in the benelli 600 i. Looks got me over and the exhaust note just sealed the deal. we indians buy a superbike not for long stretches of superspeed highways but usually for a short ride in the city and an occasional long ride. the benelli made me stand out in the crowd and that just helped me make up my mind.

Guys! I have plans to buy a used Benelli 600i! What are your inputs!!

How is the quality compared to the Ninja 650! I think i will be killed if i keep asking this question!! Ninja 650 is no doubt the best in terms of quality but does 600i come near N650?

What about the availability of spare parts and cost of ownership! How much money per service?

I have the Ninja 650 and the Benelli 600i in my list!! The Benelli wins my heart because of the eargasm it produces to my ears! But the Ninja 650 is an all rounder with not so better than my Ninja 250 exhaust note!

Does it fair well in touring!? What is the average i can expect from it?

Decent tourer but the gt is a proper tourer with 21ltr tank but is quite heavy, the 600i is still a tour able motorcycle, the ninja is a sports tourer, has a better low and mid end, the benelli is top end power, you can also consider the cbr650f, it's a inline 4 and sounds good and it's a Honda, my advice test ride all 3 bikes, see which suits you and also do comparisons of the ownership cost if all 3 bikes and decide.

                              Thanks for the quick response!

I am buying a preused bike! Cant afford a new one!! Cant find a CBR650F in the used market within my little budget! So squeezing any more moola from my pocket is going to be very difficult unless i decide to sell my Ninja 250 (which is quite to impossible)

I have decided to go with the Ninja 650 as it is a bit cheaper in terms of spare parts as compared to the Benelli!! But yes, i will miss out of the sweet inline 4! But hey! Middle class fella can only dream! 🤣

And if some one could guide a good place for stickering the bike in delhi that will be highly helpful.
