  • New Bennelli 600i Service Package

Hey guys, looking to buy Benelli 600i in Pune. They said no cash discount but accessories worth Rs 5000 thrown in the deal. Please suggest if the 6 Service Plan for Rs 15000 a good deal? Given that there is some discontent with 4 month 4000 Km service intervals, this would be almost 50% discount on total servicing for 6 services from 2nd servicing -- i.e. 2 years....

    Please help...!

        Hi

Don't know about discount but friend own 600i, done around 18.5k kms, nowadays he pays around 6.5k per service. So 15k for 6 service is amazing deal.

Correction -- 29K for 6 Services and savings are shown as 39% as total would be otherwise 43K... seems good deal anyways

Anyone managed to retrofit a TNT300/302's rear sprocket on the TNT600i. I know that they both use 525 O ring chain and both have 5 bolt mounting.
The only think i do not know is the Diameter spec for TNT300 rear sprocket. (TNT600i is 100mm)

I am looking to reduce the rear sprocket teeth count from 46 to 44 for a bit of a higher speed at low RPM for a smoother highway cruise.
I do long rides and i am not particularly a fan of engine buzz ( 6000RPM+ ) on the handlebars for more than few hours.

Hi guys I recently took delivery of Big Torpedo (2017 tnt 600i), clocked close to 200kms in 3 days. My previous bike (still own it) was a 2016 ktm rc 390.
I’m having this weird issue with the 600i’s front brakes. I get the sound of the brake pads rubbing the disc even when I’m not using the front brakes, is it because the bike is brand new the brake pads need to be worn in? Or is there something wrong with the brakes? Please help me out.
                Cheers,
                Ady

                  Hi,

Nobody in this thread for a long time ! ! I am planning to take a 300 to 600i ...not yet decided...The bike is only for weekend riding. I have an Avenger for my daily run about...office is too far and i only use the car, due to the usual congetions and pollution.

I have only two questions...How good is the pillion seat for long distance? My wife and I am planning some overnight trips once we take the bike. Second, is any saddle bags or any options for luggage, I dont want her to carry a backpack for the trip ! !

                  Thanks

PS. The OTR in Kochi has reached Rs.4.06 lakhs for the tnt300 and Rs. 7.37 lakhs for the 600i

The 600i brakes are a but dodgy by experience, lot of brake fade I've seen on a few 600s, do properly test ride and decide, do also test the cbr 650f and z800/900 which are in the same bracket.

I have not tried a TD on the 600, they dont have a TD vehicle now., though they said they will arrange one by 10th....I did one on the 300. I am not very sure whether I will be able to manage the weight, the 300 was very manageable.

I still need to know about the pillion seat and the exhaust heat on long distance, whether the pillion rider will find it uncomfortable..

The cbr and kawa are way beyond my budget, as it is I am streching on this one...

As DSK has been arrested for bad loans, better wait till there is better clarity about future of DSK Benelli.

It's the dust accumulation. Clean your pads and it will be fine.

Can someone let me know if anyone had done long distance travel with pillion ? I just want to ensure there is no heat from the exhausts for the pillion rider...

                              Thanks

                                Hi,
I use Rynox Nomad Saddle Bags on my 600i, and i am very much satisfied with it. They are even stable at around 200+ kmph of speeds. Only thing is you cannot use saddle bags with Ixil exhausts as they heat up a lot and can burn the saddle bags. So, I change to stock exhausts for touring.

Rear seat heats up a little but not much on highways. In bumper to bumper traffic it can be a problem.Click image for larger version
