    SOme pics from sunday rides
Nice Pics. I want to ask you about Ixil as I see in the pic. I am planning to install it later

    1. After installing IXIL is there any drop in mileage ? How much are you getting in city ?
    2. If you are driving in city under 3-4k rpm, will it be silent, I don't want the ixil to be loud when the bike is idle at signals or at B2B traffic.

Yamaha RX 135 (4 Speed) <-- Always a Legend no matter what (SOLD)

Ans 1. I got the pipes installed from day 1, at the time of taking the delivery..so not sure if there is any drop in mileage. In a full tank i have ridden 240 kms and then got the fuel topped up again.

Ans 2. No its never silent...its damn loud..no matter what RPM...in case you wanna shut em up to some extent you can use the db killers any time.

Ok, thx for the answer. So do I need to purchase the db killer seperately for Ixil exhaust ?

Ok, So, I assume with db killer the exhaust note of ixil is higher than the stock exhaust right ? bcoz there is no point having ixil with db killer and sounding almost same like stock exhaust

Nope the ixil is much more louder n throaty, bike sounds like a proper inline 4 sbk. I have this doubt guys, if u change ur full exhaust system don't u have to change air filter n air-fuel ratios?

Yes even with the killers its much more sporty than the stock note....you will feel like you are riding a 1000 with a decent pipe on.

Hey buddy, yes you may or may not change the air filter..its up to you but yes you will definitely have to remap the air fuel ratio to get the cream

If that's the case the "cream" would eat up ur FE I assume?

yes of course richer AFR = more fuel consumption = more power = lower FE

Do some research tho before getting it, either a full exhaust system or slip on, then there's airfilter n then air fuel ratio tuning, depending if its a slip on on a full free flow exhaust.

Benelli isnt offering any full systems as of now..the IXIL x55s are just a pair of slip ons..so no tuning is required ..just put em on and enjoy!
