Hmmm..thats weird..so if we sum it all up...its comes more or less the same cost as that of the 600 in an year. If not the same..may be few Ks less.

By the way..Forgot the important one...have booked my Black Stallion today . Paid 312390 as DP and rest 3L as finance with HDFC at 7.5% for 3 years. So my EMI would come upto 10.1k per month.

I dont think they are explaining you about the 'big' service where they change filters and do everything they will want to do. I am sure that is certain to cost more.

Congrats on being this much nearer to realizing the dream Enjoy the wait as much as you can. Also get the gears during this time if you are yet to get them

So I can soon expect the Ambur Biriyani treat

Not to spoil the party but, 7.5%. Reducing basis ? That would be brilliant if it is so. I doubt it is the fixed rate though. You could have saved a good amount by applying for the loan at a nationalized bank like Vijaya bank.
For 3 years, 3lac, 10.4% it is coming out to be 97XX so 400 per month for 36 months = Rs 14400 saving Plus no penalties for pre closure or partial payments. Nothing to pay for paper works as well. Maybe, if it is not confirmed, you can get this changed ?

      Vijaya Bank

On the Loan perspective, I will confirm if it is reducing basis or fixed. Is that a personal loan or Auto loan % you have quoted from Vijaya Bank.

Exactly. Face it together, you and the stallion

So Ambur awaits. Wondering if Biriyani for breakfast is a good idea !

Vehicle loan at 10.4% reducing basis. AFAIK, all private players quote fixed rates to make it look better !

AFAIK both have service intervals at 4 months for the first year but acc to manual for benelli each service has oil replacement as well as oil filter replacement. It takes around 3 L of oil. Ninja has 4 monthly service but requires a single oil filter replacement and takes 2L engine oil. So cheaper on the long run.

Riding my Black Italian Stallion home - Benelli TNT 600i Ownership experience

                  Prologue:
                  ----------
A child's dream I would say (atleast it was in my case though), Seated on the fuel tank while you are on your Dad's Hero Honda Sleek, I still remember asking him with a tearful eye 'Appa, na accelerator tharene please' (Translated - Dad, Can I give the throttle). He unwillingly agrees and let go of his right hand and leaves me to take charge. There I was, smiling and giggling as the bike goes fast and even faster as I twist my wrist with all the mighty strength that I could summon, Me unrealising what speed I was doing and my dad giving me a huge bonk on my head to check the speed and forcing me to let go of the throttle and demanding to control back.

That day was my first taste of in the motorcyle diary. That day, I was ever so happy, the feeling creeped inside of me and demanding more and more of it. Everytime I tried getting on the bike, I was asked to sit between my Dad and mom, which I refuse with a shake of my head. Unable to convince me, He lets me sit on the tank once again and there I was demanding the control for the space ship.

Since then my love for biking has ever been increasing. Few years later, When I was old enough to understand the concept of biking, Dad and me went for a Automobile show that took place in Chennai Trade Centre (It was a happening place for all meeting, shows, gatherings etc..and believe me, it still is ). First time in flesh, saw a twin cylinder bike (I have no idea which one i saw, But it was spectacular in one sense) . I was wondering who did a whack job like this to place two pipes out of an engine (It was funny to see it actually for the first time, you all know how we feel seeing different things at those age).

Few years passed, Love for Biking became a rage, I wanted to try myself driving once and I did it. Successfully rammed onto a cyclist who was chasing me down the alley to rip my head off. Hiding inside the house like nothing happend and my dad convinced him and paid him some and asked him to leave without causing any trouble. There end my dream of driving it anymore.

As years passed by, learnt again on my dad yamaha YBX and was able to drive cool and calm and convinced him, It is time for me to take the big leap - Getting a driving license (in his terms, it was license to kill, Tishkooooooom). Success atlast.

                                Prologue:
                                ----------
A child's dream I would say (atleast it was in my case though), Seated on the fuel tank while you are on your Dad's Hero Honda Sleek, I still remember asking him with a tearful eye 'Appa, na accelerator tharene please' (Translated - Dad, Can I give the throttle).

Back to the future 2015, Few weeks before
