I sort of like the handle bar set-up for street naked. I haven't has any stalling issues as such, once I drove at snails pace in 2nd gear (without realizing it), then the engine stalled and I immediately changed the gear and pushed the starter and drove away.

Nopes, found the 600i to be absolutely fine. The GT was like sitting in a cushion. Though am about to put the money for the 899 in a day or two I was at home in the GT version.Originally posted by Shashank Suresh View PostAre you sure it has a very relaxed riding position. The last time I rode it, it was quite aggressive not as comfortable as the seating in the 300. I'm 5'8 btw
The 600i with the IXIL is a huge head turner, riding them both together- you find more people drawn to the 600i than the 899 purely cos of the IXIL exhaust.
BTW the test mule in Chennai is nearing it end of journey.... had been told that its been dropped over 30-40 times... the front shocks is a bit twisted and so are the handlebars. The foot pegs are bent and the list goes on. Still the bike is going good, given everyone would have ripped her apart in the first 2 gears...
Do note that preety much any bike /car you look get.. there is gonna be certain amount of customization required. Like changing the position of handlebars, customized levers etc... cant call them a con

The clutch on the demo mule is almost broke and the break pads have worn out... either ways the bike requires after market break pads...Originally posted by TheArcher84 View PostI sort of like the handle bar set-up for street naked. Don't judge the bike from the current test mule at Chennai, they are about to dump it.

1. The vibrations are almost negligible, probably the smoothest engine out there in this segment.Originally posted by Taffer View PostHi guys, thank you for the response. I have two more questions im my mind now. 1. How are the vibrations in 600i? 2. Is it ok to ride the bike for 500kms immediately after delivery (because i live 500kms away from the showroom)?
2. There is absolutely no problem in riding 500 kms on day one, infact its actually good because the break in period will me shorter for you
Just make sure you keep the engine massaging at different RPMs , dont go continuously at a specific RPM, just keep varying the RPM and try not to go beyond 7-8k but thats also forgivable sometimes.
Just enjoy your bike and its built like a tank, built to last..nothings gonna happen to that inline 4. I have had the bike for almost 6 months now and its the best thing ever happened to me

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
I have been riding the bike for the last 5 months and It feels comfortable, so my judgement was not compared with the test bike. You hardly get to make out the character of the bike in a single test ride, But these guys let me drive 3-4 times for a good 10-15 kms. Hence I was convinced and put my money on the table and I guess I made a right decision.Originally posted by teezam View PostDon't judge the bike from the current test mule at Chennai, they are about to dump it.R15S - Current

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
I test drove the 600i after driving my 300 for over a month. One does not have to lean on the handlebar in the 300. That was my main observation. I guess one will get used to the position over time and it's not too aggressive as well and I wasn't pointing it out as a con but rather an observationOriginally posted by teezam View PostNopes, found the 600i to be absolutely fine. An exhaust junkie would upgrade to the IXIL and for sure it's a head turner.
BTW, congrats on your 899. A 3 cylinder does scream in its own way!!Its better to sweat than to bleed...

I was about to do the payment today, got postponed again as the manager had to leave on emergency so turned back half way around.Originally posted by Shashank Suresh View PostI test drove the 600i after driving my 300 for over a month. Didn't you consider the Ducati Monster 821 ? If I had to choose a bike around 10L, I'd definitely choose the L-twin Monster!
Oil change is every 15k kms and service interval is every 24k kms or 1 year. I definitely dont mind travelling to B'lore to get the service done.

Let me just clarify, was cribbing about the sale process getting delayed...Originally posted by teezam View PostI was about to do the payment today, got postponed again as the manager had to leave on emergency so turned back half way around.

One thing i stand by is that the sales support and flexiblity shown by Benilli staff in Chennai out weighs that of Kawasaki Chennai showroom

Kawasaki folks are probably the must unprofessional superbike dealers in India. [emoji23]Originally posted by teezam View PostLet me just clarify, was cribbing about the sale process getting delayed...

Re: Benelli TNT 600i - Onwers' Reviews & Experiences
Kawasaki I think show more attitude n lesser respect towards prospective owners, only people who seem to show status are given importance ,benelli are very warm and friendly from what I have seen, this is one of the reasons I'm really considering the 600i as my option from a CBR 250r , and if the headlight and a few weight loss mods, this bike is my next bike if its viableOriginally posted by Shreeni0403 View PostKawasaki folks are probably the must unprofessional superbike dealers in India.
