Any particular advantage with lowering the headlight assembly or was it just for aesthetic purpose.

So i finally got a taste of the 600i today in delhi.. in delhi for exams and thought what the hell lets check it out in person.. first impression. the tank is huuuuge.. couldnt get a testdrive though because i only had a xerox license and they didnt agree with me submitting my passport as Id.. did get a good idea about the ergos and i feel its comfortable for medium distance journeys.. the only thing that i didnt like was the console.. it looks soooo dated.. hope these guys can launch an updated version soon.. the exhausts were eargasm to say the least.. guys at the showroom were courteous enough.. didnt get a test ride so was a bit dissapointed but still checking out the beast in person did make my day alot better.. fingers crossed.. benelli just gained a few points in my score card..
And sanket bhai.. i wish i could meet you and your beauty..

                I had another query ..

Wanted to add the IXIL Exhaust .. Bought my bike just a week ago.

Is it better to run the bike for a few 1000 kms before changing the exhaust or is it ok to be changed right away ?

                Thanks in advance.

You can use it from day 1, but I would suggest you to wait till the run in period is over because you will be tempted to rev higher and higher with ixil exhaust thus ruining your engine. Also, as you might know that, there would be a drop in mileage around 2-3 kms. I don't have ixil exhaust, but just sharing the information I have

I did it myself bro.. I do abit of bike customization myself.. The SC guys were curious as to how I did it.. The only things I did not like on the Benelli 600i were the stock headlight positioning and the TNT badging coz the bike is inline 4 and not a TNT. That's why when I took delevry from SC, I got them to remove the TNT badge straight away and once I got home I lowerd the headlight the same day.

Would be great if you can pen down a DIY guide for those who are interested in lowering their headlights [emoji4]

I've mostly been a silent observer/reader here on xBhp. Recently got a TNT 600i.

Reason for this post - it's more of an FYI which might be of some help to somebody in another city.

Right after the first service, I could see water/vapor in the console and it started displaying weird information. The tacho & speedo wasn't working, though the switches and lights were all fine. That was last Saturday, so I thought I'd give it a day or to dry n see if things change, which didn't, unfortunately!

Today, I went to the SVC and was told this has been noticed in a few more bikes. They're replacing the whole meter/console under warranty. The replacement parts, however, would take a few days/weeks to arrive.

PS: The guys at the SVC are/were helpful and don't have that "don't care" attitude - which has become a norm at most of the places I've seen.

i test rode the benelli 600i a few months back and, it was pretty good, but some issues i had with the bike

1.Did not like the handle bars , i felt it was a bit too thin for my liking, Coming from a cbr 250r , i felt with chunkier handlebars the bike would have been more stable and easier to handle.

2.The engine stalled once, and the standing weight of the bike was very high comparing it to the ninja 650 and cbr 650f.

3.Im not sure about the long term ownership of this benelli and there was not much information but the benelli showroom people seemed very friendly and their service seemed pretty good to me.

Overall, i liked the bike par a few issues and the guy in the showroom also told they are plenty of aftermarket parts for the bike, was not sure wat to make of that...But otherwise its one of 4 options of a next bike for me. Honda cbr 650 f, Benelli 600i, kwacker z800 and the ninja 650r.

Hi bro even I had same issue with my goldi. The SVC guys r saying it takes at least 2 weeks for the parts to arrive .now I am concerned about the quality of the parts and horn is also not working when the bike runs for few km
