I dont own the GT but i know some people who happen to own it and we meet frequently during the weekend benelli rides. All I can say that its a great machine.
Everything about it is so much fun. If you are into touring or long distance travelling then its the best thing you can buy.

So comfortable and spacious, the 27 ltr tank for those pit stop free rides and it feels so light and refined once you get going, vibration free.

And it just eats up potholes, you just dont feel anything even on really bad roads..fantastic motorcycle and i specially like the one with the white tank, looks royal.

Long tours for a pillion on 600i might get a little uncomfortable after 2-3 hours of ride. The sitting position seems to be more leaning forward on the rider here. The seat seems to be a little slippery. That can be adjusted by some means...But they may feel the heat from the under-seat exhaust. I feel it after 1 hour of ride normally. Its not very hot, but can feel the heat under my bum.

IMO, You can use the 600i for shorter travel. I would not prefer it for long hauls, unless you are willing to travel alone.

Yeah! It's like a fortress on two wheels! But, my concern here would be, given the immense weight and mass, with no ABS or riding modes, it would be a pain to ride this in rainy conditions. And forget about off roading either. Could you ask your friend to shed some light on this?

(Reason i ask is because my friend owns a Tiger XCX and he's shown me how it behaves in the rain on Road Mode. Power slides all the way!)

One guy from Bangalore took delivery of his GT and first thing he did was - Leh trip on his GT with his wife as pillion. When I went for my TNT300 service his bike was there for service with a dent on the crash guard and a repaired puncture

@Ankit_Rana I'm all in for it if he's ok too! I've been considering an upgrade for sometime now, and have been to Benelli, Triumph and Kawasaki multiple times now, for 8 months to be exact. It feels like choosing between an arabic princess, a colombian hottie and a Nord goddess!

That's not a dent bro. They are called 'war wounds'
Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.

Yes, it is really horrible during rainy season. The tail section is a complete mess. Also if I try to push the bike a little faster when the road is wet, all the dirt comes and hits your back and to the back seat as well. I have stopped cleaning the bike now. Will clean once the rainy season is over. After Diwali the rains should stop
