Ha ha ha... Especially for the underlined part.

Reminds me of a friend who bought the XC 60 Volvo during his stint in the US of A. When he told his dad that he's bought a Volvo, his dad very innocently asked:
"You stay in a rented house with 2 more people, you could have bought an SUV if you wanted more space, why a bus?"
    Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

OT: For the point highlighted in bold, I would kill you for having a sis like that. Personally I feel happy they are supporting you. Folks back at my home says this - Why waste petrol da kanna...Go by bus na..Its safe...

I dont know where to go and cry or bang my head against the wall....
OT : Haha yeah I am blessed to have my family folk support me. My wife is bike-crazy and my sis is into designing biker apparel, so yeah Only problem is my Mom who insists I should ride bikes only at 40kmph

Since I have sold my Duke, they are realizing how much I need a bike in my life and constantly telling me to buy one. The only problem is I do not think there are many options in my budget. Will create a "What bike" thread soon

Are you planning to use your 600 for daily commute or occasional usage and weekend blasts ?? Personally, I would like you to hold on to your "other" machine till you are comfortable with the new one.

Looking at this Pic I have a quick question brother. Does DSK benelli even sell Helmets? or did you manage some stickers for yours?

              Cheers,

Being on two wheels is being liberated. The vastness one feels being under the open sky. The whole feeling. . . cant be described.

This is a Vega Helmet with the stickers. The same is available in showrooms also. I guess they can get it done for you.

I cant plan to keep both bikes unfortunately, main reason being I have very limited space to park the bike. I must let go of duke to accommodate 600, sad. But I'm not much worried about using 600 for daily commute as my office is only 6-7 kms from my home, that too a relaxed route. And I'm also planning to get a cheap pre owned 150cc for the local purpose that I can park outside the house without worrying much. Selling the duke is going to be a good decision I think because the bike is 2 years old now and if I keep it any longer, I wont get any better resale value. About being comfortable with the 600, I dont think it should take any longer to adapt to it as I knew right from the moment I took the test ride that I'll surely get used to it quickly. I have kept a cbr 600 for about a month earlier and also have ridden a lot of 600s and 1000s every now and then so have pretty good idea of the power these machines possess. Lets see how things go with this one

Lucky you, This is my first ever ride on a 4-cylinder mill. Hence that kind of doubt in back of my mind. Congrats once again.

600i. Got a chance to ride one, some days back. Orgasmic sound.
Though still confused if this Italian beast sounds better than the Japanese ones ! Anyway I have a lot of time to ponder over this, atleast till I get close to buying either of the two. :P
