I thought RSA was one of their better offers [emoji3] anyway to each his own. Which one are you going for now?

The radiator guard, fog lamp and back tail carrier panel can be fitted afterwards? as i don't like the rear tail of the mojo as it's look like unnecessary extension and how much these accessories cost??
I do have the tank & saddle bags and don't required the touring edition mojo..

Hi.. read your review of your Mojo .
I'm 6.2 tall and 32 years old, presently riding Unicorn 150.

I'm also very much interested in Mojo but for commuting mainly and occasionally touring.

Everywhere and everyone uses Mojo for touring. Can't it be used for commuting?Completed one year last month with Mojo. You can commute daily without any issues. I am 5' 10'' and don't have any issues until weather is too hot, humid and stuck in B2B traffic. It's very difficult for me to ride in hot weather. For your height I believe there won't be any problem in maneuvering through traffic. Rest you can go for TD and take your own time to figure it out.

            How's the paint quality?
Paint quality is good. I apply wax regularly and it shines like new everytime.

N is Mahindra going to stay in the long run in two wheeler market?
Mojo is going to stay longer I believe as you can see the number of exclusive showrooms they are opening across the country. Last week itself Lucknow mojo tribe got a CIOS session on Mojo and it was very helpful.

Came across this video, looks like Mahindra have made a change to the rear seat. Looks longer than before and hope it solves the pillion seating issue

Yeah ! Seat is longer and wider now. When i enquired dealer about getting wider seat installed on my mojo, he told me that it is not possible because they have made changes in chassis itself. Don't know if it's true though.

Good to see the Mahindra is listening to the customers and making changes. I wonder when they'll launch the ABS version.
                  Till then, my wait continues.

Never got a chance to go on a long test ride, hoping to enjoy the ride in the upcoming Jungle trail.

Because I also stay in such weather only.

In higher CC bikes heat generation I suppose is common ? Then how is it different from other bikes like RE or Duke 250/390 in relation to engine heat management in city traffic ?

It is a big bike though and moving/pushing it when the engine is off is quite a task, as I found out today in my office parking lot.

But yes, the characteristics of the Mojo should make it an ideal choice for touring. Doesn't mean it is not suitable for commuting. Long term owners are probably better placed to answer your question. For what its worth, my Mojo will definitely be used for commuting as well.

As for Mahindra being in the two wheeler market for long, your guess is as good as mine. But with the Jawa and Yezdi plans and Mojo exclusive showrooms in the pipeline, I think it is safe to assume that they won't go out of business any time soon.

I guess the assurance is that the Mojo is not going to break down as much as an enfield

Jokes apart, Mahindra has a RSA service and they will tow your mojo to the nearest service centre, within a 300 km radius although I have to confirm the exact details. I think they tow it even beyond this distance at an extra cost. This is free for the first year and you can opt for it at a nominal fee in future.
Thanks for your insights. After you have done few weeks on city roads do give a feedback on how is it within city ..

You are right about that buddy. Heat generation is common and is bearable. You will only feel a bit it when you are in a b2b traffic. I avoid riding in hot and humid weather. It's just with me. I don't prefer it as my riding style makes me sweat a lot. There are my other friends here who commute daily. So that heat thing is just with me. That's why I told you to take TD and figure it out [emoji4] .
                      Hope this helps!

After much deliberation went ahead and booked the Crimson Red BS4 version. Now the long one-month wait begins.

I took a test drive from WickedRide for a day and fell comfortable with the bike. Thought will wait for the ABS version, but that is no where in sight to me.

This is my first post in the forum,I'm also looking for the mojo as well,I ride a 2015 Thunderbird 350 now and the vibrations are the main thing that's letting me not tour for long distances and the reliability factor of it,I testrode the bs3 mojo like four times and also got a chance to ride with mojo baba as well and it was awesome, anyway coming back to the topic,I loved the looks of the yellow colored mojo,I heard the crimson red was stopped because of paint chipping issues,if the red is available in the bs4 version and doesn't have the issue as before, I'm thinking of booking the same.

                            Hi,

It is true that the older models cannot be fitted wit the new long seat. While one dealer told me that the chassis itself is different, the other was saying that the chassis remains the same while the wheel base is longer although am not sure how that is possible. Either way, the longer seat cannot be retrofitted on the older Mojos. Even now, the longer seat is available only in black, white and crimson red. The Sun burst yellow and volcano red retains the old characteristics.

Yes, the crimson red is available now and you it is available with the longer seat unlike the older version. If you go 1 or 3 pages back, you can find the crimson red delivered to an customer in bangalore NAFS motors.

I am not sure whether the sunbright yellow is available with the longer seat.
