I checked with YAMAHA and the brake pads dont have pad covers (Official and Unofficial) and secondly the entire caliper set doesnt have the holding bracket as a part also checked with YAMAHA official. Hence this thread post if someone has the knowledge to help me or arrange them for me. '

The brake pad backing plate that you've circled, won't be available separately, you will only have to purchase a new brake pad. Why would someone sell a metal plate without the brake pad material! The plate and the brake pad material are fused together, so if you feel squeaking or pad wear, change the brake pads as a set. Secondly, the small bracket will come as a complete set with the rear caliper, and if it's the caliper slider pins, it's not sold as a separate part, as far as I can remember.Originally posted by sunnylovesalman View Post

I need 3 parts for my R15S that no YAMAHA care has been able to solve . Somehow these were dropped during the service and Tyre change process at the service station. Now experiencing so bad noise from rear wheel due to these 3 things and YAMAHA is not taking accountability for their mistakes. '
1. Brake Pad covers ( 2 Numbers).
2. The small bracket that holds the caliper(Rear) .

If you can spend a little more, then buy HEL steel braided line (front) for R15v2 from helperformance.com. With shipping, it will cost 39.15 pounds (3400/- approx) and take some 10days to deliver to India.Originally posted by emkayindia View Post

Guys, my R15S front brake pads are due for a replacement. Can you suggest any performance brake pads or do you suggest P220's braided hose with R15 new brake pads? I need a little more stopping power in the front as I use only front most of the times.

Thanks Guys!! I already had an accident with the tyres so went ahead and got them changed. I went with Apollo Alpha 130/70 for the rear and 90/90 Apollo for the front. I've been riding for a couple of days and I must say that the control over my bike is amazing. Yesterday itself I rode for 99.3 kms in the city but i was minimally tired. The tire is worn, and you can see the wear indicator marks almost visible. Your tire will feel twitchy and feel like skidding off over mild gravel and wet, replace the front tire. The rear can be extended another 2 to 3k easily considering it's not punctured patched more than one to two times. Stick with the stock MRF 90/80 Zapper FYI for the front tire, it's the best tire that the R15 can get. You go a size high and the handling gets crappy for sure. The rear you can use any other brand, but I'd still prefer the Revs S, as it is much more confidence inspiring. Guys, I need an advice. I have completed over 21,300 kms on my bike. Of late my bike has been skidding a lot. The front tire tread of the bike has become thin. The rear tire has the tread. But the same cannot be said for the front tire. I have attached the pictures of my tires.
Do I need to change the tires? If yes, Do I need to change both or just the front tire will do.
Also, which tire brands are good. I usually ride 40-50kms daily on an average in the city and occasionally on highways. I urgently need a solution guys. Please help!!!

It was indeed the issue. Could not able to fix myself. Went to service station and got it checked and cleaned by service guy, as well as done 1st servicing. Problem is solved now. Thank you all for your support. Cheers.
