  • Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience

    Hello all.
Im from Costa Rica, we recently got Benelli motors here, I got a TNT 25, so far I discover that it really needs a good quality gas, on regular pump gas, engine rattle, idle jumps from 1500 to 2000 rpm, I added a Torco octane booster to a full gas tank and almost all symptoms dis appear, other than this I really happy with my new cat(Cringer)...
    Greetings!

Congratulations Masckkara! It's great to see another Latin-American member on this forum . You have just purchased a great motorcycle and you have a VERY beautiful country to enjoy with! (I went to Costa Rica last year for two weeks and it's an awesome place!)

In regards of your comment... yes, it seems that the fuel quality plays an important factor in terms of performance and smoothness (it has been already discussed on this thread) but if you have already found the correct one, then just use that one and focus on enjoying your machine!

Greetings from Aztec lands (Mexico) and.... Pura Vida!!!!!

Yes, i have been saying from the time we started this thread it is very important to use high octane gas to remove symptoms like vibrations. I have oberved a lot of diffrence between shell high octane gas and normal gas.

And yes welcome to the family its a beautyfull machine 😀😀

Thank you all, i will post some pictures tomorrow. Dealer states I cannot replace any part on the bike before the warranty is over, i was thinking about replacing the brake levers and handlebars... Anyway I have no rush.

Masckkara in India if we purchase and change the parts like brake levers handle bar from dealer itself then warranty does not gets void. It must be same in your country too..
              Thanks,
              Anway Kale.

Yes it's pure dealer rules because of previous bad experiences with customers doing major mods and claiming warranty afterwards, but hey, the bike is running great!! It can wait..

Here's a few pics, pretty much the same bike, just a little dirt on it

                      charges 1200 approx.
I also got paking cover from beneli. The material is nice with benelli logo. Cost 1500/-. Only issue is its too big for tnt 25 as they dont have one soecific for tnt25
this cover should fit all benelli models. The other accesories for tnt25 will arrive in this month sometime.

On my way back I started getting a mild thud sound from front when bike rides on potholes or uneven surfaces, usually such sound comes when bike starts to rattle after few years, something like front fender or wheel cover is loose. Will monitor and check with service centre during next visit. May be the tyre pressure is too much in front tyre as touching the tyre and pressing it felt like hard rock.

BTW i removed the saree guard, now the bike looks awesome. Also bike shed a few gms from its weight.
I also got the first service done... charges 2200/- (engine oil and filters change)...Got Teflon coating at service center for extra charge of 750/-
Bike is riding more smooth after servicing... front handle vibration stays but has greatly reduced (checked with a friend who had 600cc and per him his bike also has front handle vibration. Rear braking is still a challenge (service supervisor said nothing can be done for that).
Checked about accessories... no date given for Bangalore. Frame sliders I believe will cost upwards of 5K.... Are there any alternatives?

Overall loving the bike and waiting to take it on open road (have driven it so far in city)...

Hehehe... I believe that there's no observant people in this thread! The most obvious difference in the pictures is that my bike doesn't have the number 25 in the tail and it seems that no one noticed it!

Sir, Myself Vipul Singh, from Goa, want to have some supporting review about Benelli TNT 25. I had a test ride of d bike. Bike is good, handling and riding is very good. But one thing it annoyed to me is the vibration. Once I get the actual cause of the vibration and remedy to recover the vibration den it will not be any difficult for me to buy. I had earlier bought the bike if vibration issue was there.
Requiring help to know how to recover from the vibration..
Please revert me with relevant justification.
