  • Re: Benelli TNT 25 Ownership Experience

The CBR is old and Honda have no updated it except for the Colour,in the flesh the TNT looks waaay better, but I'm interested how it fares vs the 300r, the design has been altered n all. But coming to performance , CBR is tried n tested n I'm keen to hear of more reviews of the TNT 25 I'm planning to fabricate a after market exhaust for the bike in Chennai

Enjoying it buddy! Haven't taken it yet on open road and have been riding it on city roads. Bike gets lot of attention whenever I stop at traffic signal. Many queries on on road price and make.

But, the TNT25 isn't having any metal body parts so i guess tge colour fading won't be a problem except for the tank pad which catches dirt easily. Looking forward to come uo with a solution for that issue.
Bro, I have enquired about the AS 150, & AS 200 pulsar, similar is d issue of red colour version. The bike having red colour on metal as well as on fibre gets fade within 6 or more months..

Even in the fibre part, the colour will lose its shine within a year.
In Goa, there will be heavy rain for 5 months continuously and humid climate. The colour will fade except black one.
And the black TNT 25 is not available in India. It is available in Indonesia. Odrwise I will definitely go for black version

I can't say that you are rright or not but its a benelli . Top of the quality line, it wont be easy to fade that off. Also add a strong 3M detailing pack or paint protection and i dont think you will have a problem for a couple of years.

You are too wrong brother i ve 10 month old RED RS200(in Bengaluru) it still looks like a fresh new bike,
You live in goa which is a sea shore, in that area there will be high salt concentration in Air which makes the paint dull,
Even if you own a Ferrari it ll dull if you dont take care it carefully.

Red will fade when exposed to sun badly. Use a PPF and park it in shades. The color should be fine for 2/3 years.
                Ride Safe!

                Cheers,

Disagree completely. I had a red colour spark whose colour was as new even after 7-8 years. I have photos as proof.
nowadays Paint technology has advanced quite a lot.

Yes i agree. Paint technology has developed too and comparing bajaj's colour quality over benelli won't be a topic to argue. Because the Italian marquee hasn't compromised in quality anywhere, since each and every component seems to be made of high quality with durability and so do i feel same about the paint. So fading won't be a issue as I've even seen red CBR's from 2011 shining and sparkling like they are new!
